We need to talk about Gavi. Absolute class. I can never praise him enough. He just keeps on getting better and better, and I especially love his new spark of challenging opponents one on one and displaying his gorgeous technical abilities. He’s such a complete midfielder and has absolutely insane talent. Dropping masterclasses is a daily right now for him lmao. His beautiful skills, attitude, consistency, and overall well-roundedness is what will cause him to mark an era in football.

The attacking play’s been improved a lot from last matches. Somehow defence is a problem in this match. Other than that, id say we had a good match. Don’t forget we’re missing Frenkie and Pedri.

Ferran should train more about shooting. He have lots of great chances but keep missed it. I think it would have been 3-2 if ferran score that goal when the keeper leaving the goal and get in front. Ferran should chip it

Quite the conundrum. Raphinha was excellent today, and Lamine Yamal looked like a top 5 winger. The issue is they can not and should not ever play together. I realize they worked well together to make that second goal, but it has been abundantly clear these past 2 games that they take away from each others performances. Raphinha today looked like he’d rather die then pass the ball to Lamine, and they occupy the same spaces. Shouldn’t play together on the right, and shouldn’t force one to play out of comfort zone on the left.

I'm glad you realized that too. Raphina seems to be jealous. They could actually play together if Raphina stayed in his position in the middle (as a 10); he's not supposed to come to the wings when Lamine is on the field with him. At a point I could see him telling Lamal to go forward when the boy's positioning was just perfect. It's jealousy; he's mad he has to compete with a 16-year old, but it's just a matter of time, Lamine will be the undisputed starter in that position.

It worries me that the Mallorca coach told us what his game plan was going to be and then proceeded to execute it and it worked! We were unable to figure out a way through the defense aside from individual brilliance and defensive mistakes.

Well as Guardiola said, playing against a 11-man defense that doesn't want to play football is hard today, in prehistory and 1000 years in the future. We already knew how Mallorca plays, that doesn't mean there is an easy answer particularly if we gift a nonsensical goal at the beginning because if they are 1 goal up they defend much more comfortably.

Hablemos de cómo estuvo la defensa en este partido, se rompió , Balde estaba confuso, no le salía nada de lo q quería, se notó demasiado la falta q nos hizo Koundé en el primer tiempo, Gavi manejó el centro del campo bastante bien y defendió mejor q casi todos los defensas hoy, Gündo parece q todavía tiene q adaptarse pero lo hizo bien, Fermín, el mejor cambio de la noche, y claramente la entrada de Yamal, Raphinha perdió más de 10 balones pero fue el q mejor estuvo, los mejores de la noche fueron Raph y Gavi, y; ¿qué hacia Ter, a mil metros de la portería cuando iba el jugador solo? (Pienso q Fermín y Yamal deben de entrar juntos más seguido, esos dos lo q ocasionaron en los últimos minuto fue buaf increíble, lástima q esta vez no remontamos) y se me olvidaba, los entrenadores de los equipos contrarios están comenzando a cogerle el gusto de poner 5 defensas (normalmente se rompen fáciles) pero el equipo no ha sabido como, a mi opinión Xavi debería hacer alguna táctica al respecto, ya que el tiene experiencia de sobra y creemos en él y en que eso mejore

Marc no hico nada mal. Fijense a lo que hico romeu en esos dos goles. Ahi esta el problema. No pueden decir nada mal de marc por q estaba afuera si la asistencia vino desde la otra porteria. Si romeu estaba en sus sentidos y peleo por la pelota en vez de esperarla no hubiera gol. En la primera era por falta de concentracion de romeu tambien. Mas aparte kounde entro en el se gundo tiempo, no se de que estas hablando.

Joao Felix is a very elegant and graceful player! He plays so effortlessly and his style is similar to a combination of Marco Van Basten and Kaka. He is going to win many matches for Barca. Hopefully, Barca doesn't screw him up... Barca should have been dominating the world now had they managed Messi properly. It pains me to see such an iconic club failed to fully utilize the immense talent of Messi. Messi with his unique abilities could have won at least 3 more or CLs, if only for proper Barca management. Durante el segundo gol, Lewy atrajo a dos defensores y dejó que el balón pasara para que López marcara. A pesar de que Lewy señalaba para que todos volvieran al centro y se pudieran marcar más goles, algunos mediocres salieron corriendo a celebrar como si ya hubieran ganado la liga. Xavi needs to insert some urgency in this team. Once felix was off, there was no on in between the lines to receive the passes. Frenkie's absence was clearly felt. There was no one passing in between lines. They were just passing sideways. Ter stegan's pass was not good but Romeu was at fault too. I saw on couple of occasions that Romeu doesn't always check his surroundings. They lost the ball way too much in this match.

Ter Stegen's blunder cost the game. It was an elementary mistake, maybe a lapse in concentration. Barca cannot afford such complacency in UCL, if they have any hopes of winning it after a long time.

Que bonito es ver cómo la gente "apoya" a su equipo (claro, estaban jugando contra Barcelona, no contra los otros de abajo), a pesar de que saben su club es de los que pelearán el descenso y ante un club como éste, este resultado era a lo más que podían aspirar, aún jugando de local.

El Barça estaba jugando muy mal en Mallorca, pero como ante el Celta de Vigo o incluso el Villarreal, a este equipo se le caen los goles de los bolsillos. Si no es Lewandowski es Raphinha, si no es Yamal es Joao Félix.
