I used to love Latin music, 30 years ago, but got distracted. So I’ve never heard of Maluma - but am so grateful to Seth for bringing him on the show! This guy is so real, humble, and fun to listen to.

I worked Maluma's show in Phoenix, where one of his fans tossed a handmade doll to the stage. It didn't make it to the stage. Now that doll is sitting on my bookcase. The girl who tossed it wrote a love note in pen on the cloth body of the doll. Perhaps I'll send it to Seth and he can forward it to Maluma. Can you imagine how much that girl would be blown away by how that doll had traveled....?

I admit, I've never heard of Maluma before, so I was half expecting to watch a couple minutes of this interview and skip the rest. But, wow, I was wrong. He is such a delightful guy. This interview was sweet and funny and I can't help but feel excited for him for the birth of his daughter. And, Seth just keeps growing in the comedic genius department. He is so quick and witty.

My husband is a chef and Marluma came in to dine while he was in town. He was kind and although he preferred his privacy, he did take time to greet and take photos with the staff. My husband has served Marc Anthony many times over the years as well. 🤩

I can't be certain, but it may be faux fur. Hugo Boss created the entire wardrobe for his recent tour & he is their representative (modeled in several of their campaigns). Hugo Boss ceased using real fur in 2016 (you can Google their Animal Welfare policy).

Interesting that he didn't mention his wife or girlfriend as part of going home, just the animals....and in talking about the baby, "when I wake up in the morning and see this belly..." 😅😅 I was wondering if he'd acquired a surrogate 😅. I'm neither a raging fan nor a hater. I just pay careful attention to speech (and it's not a "things don't translate" issue, so don't go there...)

Did you ever consider it's b/c she's been traveling w/ him this whole time? 🤔 That's how he 'sees her belly every morning' & frequently posts w/ her on his social media. 🙄 Obviously, you don't 'pay attention that carefully to speech' - more to what you want to hear. P. S. Not sure what generation you're from, but you don't have to be married to have children. And men don't always leave their pregnant partners at home, especially when they're only in the 2nd trimester.

As I said, I don't know enough about him or his music to like him or dislike him. I simply noticed that the partner as a person was not present in anything he mentioned. If I am wrong about that, please point out the timestamp where he mentions that person.

Nonetheless, people don't typically wake-up (i.e. sleep in the same bed) w/ their surrogate every day. Nor do they call them "Mom." Their relationship was fairly private until the pregnancy announcement this Fall. He may have expounded, but Seth used "soccer" to transition to the next topic - his past potential career & friendship w/ Lionel Messi. I transcribed it, but start relistening at 07:02 "It's crazy b/c I feel it already. Every time I wake up & I see this big belly that is growing every day like crazy. And I see it kicking - my little girl Paris kicking inside her *Mom* belly - 'Boom!' I'm like oh my God. She's gonna be a soccer player for sure."
