Michael is a proud father and loving husband with a bottomless pool of material about his family. In stand up, Michael came up under the wings of Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy and now headlines all over the country. He also appeared on season 15 of America's Got Talent ( • Michael Yo Gets the Au... ); Michael received a yes from all four judges and made it to the Quarter-Finals.
As an actor, Michael stars as Philip Brown in the Apple TV+ series “Amber Brown,” recurred on “Kevin Can Wait,” shot the Damon Wayan Jr.’s pilot “Happy Together” for CBS, and was a principal in Facebook Watch’s first sitcom series, “Starter Pack.” Michael previously covered celebrity news on “The Insider,” “Extra” and “E! News.” He also coached Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian as radio DJs for their show “Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami” on E! Michael has co-hosted CBS’ “The Talk” and continues to appear as a hot topics guest on “The Wendy Williams Show.”

I've NEVER loved people I have never met like this before!!!!! I'm with Mama 💯% I don't like bad language when other words can still cause laughter.... and then, the entire family can hear the jokes.

Thank you for sharing this and having this discussion. Both of your parents were brave. Your mother was SO brave to come to the states in 1973 to marry your dad. The discrimination must have been frightening for her, just 6 years after Loving v. Virginia was decided.

I regularly doesn't comment online. After I listened your show what was really hilarious I find this Mama and Papa Yo interview. Your parents are adorable. Their laugh is infectious. They look like down to Earth people, say like it is. All the respect for them and your Panda family. I wish people learn from you how to live together. (I'm a " toothpaste on the white side" woman, and I think respect for each other is a base for every human connection, relationship. Respect ,love ❤, laugh 😂.

I love his father’s honesty!!! There’s nothing wrong with saying I don’t know, or I can’t answer that. Too many people’s ego’s allow them to create their own narratives and lie about shit!!! There never anything wrong with say you don’t know if you honestly don’t know it’s a simple thing but admirable!

I agree with Mrs. Yo no cursing word. Cursing words out of your mouth means no respect for yourself and others so I withdraw myself from you. Respect is # 1 thing in my culture as an African. Michael you funny. Wonderful and lovely family God bless you all.

Right on. My brother-law is Puerto Rican which was a far reach from European white descent. This coupling back in 1973 almost blew the roof off the house I grew up in. My sister and brother-in-law remain happily married after over 45 years of marriage. You can say that they’re my best friends and closest family members.

I hope u did check Chelsea for calling ur mother a B. Be it in a good or bad way, she needed to use other words to describe an elderly woman. Everyone doesnt appreciate that. They are a tremendous family that is the epitome of laughter and love joking about themselves, this reminds me of my family, laughter was always present, and clowning was also instrumental I miss it now, those were great times and it bonded the family together.
