Have you tried a trail cam? I just screwed one into our swingset after noticing the nest, I know its a short period but it was worth it, we never see so much of how animals live in the wild, even when "the wild" is our backyard! It's funny online it says they nurse at dawn and dusk - this mama is always 9-11pm, at dusk the rabbits are all over the place eating and racing around :)

@@KrittersGoneWild We have had cameras for years. Yesterday our local fox was chasing something (probably a rabbit) but the video is a blur. I'm almost positive they live at my next door neighbor, when she had a shed installed, she insisted that the burrows were not to be disturbed. Ours are coming out earlier to eat because there is a lot of activity at night with multiple animals gracing our backyard.
