Although my children are too old to have children in school, I still roam through back to school isles and think about how cool it would be to buy school supplies. So, I do! I then donate them to schools and back pack drives. Such a fun time of the year. Also, you inspire me to meal plan. I found a vinyl sleeve in the Bullseye Spot. It is meant for young children to practice writing letters and numbers. It’s perfect for meal planning!

Where I live in South Carolina, the schools started back this week. They are starting a modified year round schedule. We homeschool and haven’t started back yet. Don’t plan to for a while yet. Yay! I love when you do your back to school shopping 😊 I always enjoy looking at everything lol. My kids don't need to go back to school shopping anymore as their new school provides everything, with the exception of lunchbox, backpack, and water bottle obviously. I LOVED Lisa Frank stuff when I was little too! Yes, I definitely remember doing the summer reading for Pizza Hut and getting the free personal pizza 😁😋

I noticed the prices have increased big time this year but I have picked up some items that was on sale. Love how schools ask for specific items for us to never see again and you ask your kids they have no clue haven’t seen or used it.

Yesss! My now adult kids LOVED the Book It! Program! And Pizza Hut was very different then, a popular treat, esp w Book It! Now I have revealed how OG I am( well, yeah, I am 68). My oldest grandchild starts kindergarten soon( big school, as he calls it) so I am seeing my daughter with the first “ big school” Back to School season and a three year old preschool student. I use rubber band balls! Can be kept in the kitchen drawer (much neater than piles). Bands work as clips for resealable bags that don't reseal, in pantry and freezer, and for opening tight jar lids

I can’t believe you actually left the house instead of just staring at your new dining room! (It’s so pretty!) My kids are your age, my daughter just turned 39 on the 22nd. And my son turned 35 in May. And this really brought me back. It’s funny the things you don’t even think about anymore, but you see a video and it’s sucks your right back. Picking all the stuff. Backpacks and notebooks and all the accoutrements. And it really did give a sense of new beginnings. A clean slate. You could be anything THIS year you wanted. I cannot hardly wait to get my Magic Candle scents. I got the assortment of 10 and the Tiki diffuser. I hope you went back on their and signed up for an affiliate link. You’re talking about it again today. And so many people are shopping now because of you. I realize the 10% isn’t going ro make you rich, but just think, it’ll pay for a new pair of shoes for one of the kids, or a tank of gas. This was really fun to watch. First, my kids are past back to school shopping and in their 20s. Second, I still want to go back to school shopping. This made me want ro run to the Dollar Tree or Walmart. I can usually find better prices there than at Target... But all the color and cute!!

JanSports are totally worth the price. I paid $20 for mine when I was 14 or 15 years old that was 22 years ago and I'm still using it - no tears or anything! Nowadays, it's my go-to carry on when I travel.

It’s going to be a great day with Kim and her fun shenanigans! Clothes shopping and school supply shopping was something I looked forward to, not only with my 2 sons, but also with my grandson. He will be starting his senior year in high school, and I can’t believe it. My Nana heart is so happy but emotional. Last night was pretty special because his parents and my husband and I surprised our grandson with a new car to start his final year in high school. He was so excited and grateful. Seeing him drive off left a lump in my throat. He’s such an amazing young man, and we’re so proud of him. I have ALWAYS loved back to school supply shopping!!! My mom hated taking me though because she wanted to go down the list, put it in the cart & go. I, on the other hand wanted to stop, look, touch & feel, step back and look again and then say something like "I just can't decide! Can we come back to this section and let me think about it?" And lunch boxes ... don't even get me started!!! I'm about to be 60 years old next month and I have a collection of the old metal lunchboxes! I probably have 100+. PS - My mom still doesn't get it ... she's always asking why I have all of them - "They're just more crap you have to dust!" Lol - I truly love my mom!!! We are SOOOO alike in most things but .... SOOOO different in a few!

I grew up in south Louisiana and clear and mesh backpacks were made mandatory in the mid 90s, also our daughter attends school in Dallas and a They also were made mandatory recently. Definitely due to children's safety issues.

Yes, unfortunately that is what we are coming to with the back packs. Our school district here in Texas requires them to be mesh or clear.

Those 6 pocket folders are great for creating an emergency folder for your family/kids. Put inside of a fire safe pouch & then make a duplicate set to keep outside of your home....

As the only leftie in my family, there were never any left handed scissors at home. I learnt to use right handed scissors. They forced me to use left handed scissors at school and I couldn’t use them!! I use right handed scissors now because they simply don’t sell them anywhere!! ✂️
