When I was a kid I was absolutely scared to death of anything that flew, had more than two legs, slithered or made a sound. Because we were a family of seven girls we didn’t have much but summer holiday time mum would use two huge double camberwick bedspreas and pitch them over a couple of washing lines once the washing was out of the way so they were like tents. Imagine my nervous self in there when I was brave enough to go in on my own only to be chased out by an angry blackbird? I soon got over it as I was never alone with so many of us. I also remember when I was little and we were playing in the garden and I fell over and hacked up my knee. My second eldest sister ran in and told mum I was dead.?!! Love the Summertime Bash Kim xx

💖My mother did stuff similar to this as a kid/teenager & i never forgot it. My house growing up was THE house. Everyone was welcomed. Everyone was safe. Kim YOU ARE AWESOME!!! The scooter seats are throwbacks.
