To me , stuff like this separates them from other Kpop groups. They are very serious performers but they don't take themselves seriously. Killer ballads and vocals and then song where they tease and complain about each other.

only mamamoo can sing about sleeping with makeup on and make it an absolute banger hip-hop track! that's the first thing that drew me to this group - they're so authentic and they don't take themselves too seriously. they're all crazy talented but they don't have to act hardcore or talk about their achievements all the time to get that through to the audience. even in the music shows and competitions they've taken part in, while all the other idols are being competitive and trying to prove themselves, mamamoo is just there to have fun and ends up taking the prize home.

Yes, this song is about them complaining they cannot sleep properly because either you are first and need to wake up early to get it done + film or if you last you sleep in the car with the makeup on, which is uncomfortable so you still tired. One funny thing is how Hwasa said that on the car she cannot sleep because they still be noisy like last year. You need to see mamamoo playing in the car when they debuted so you get a gist of what party goes on and why they are called beagle idols. They for sure cannot sleep on the car during the drives or while waiting the others to film. When one gets tired the others have an energy outburst that will mot let the others sleep.

Mamamoo habits is randomly start singing inprovise songs through out their daily life. They sing when they happy, when they cringe, when they embaressed, etc. There is the footage of the origin of this song which is a behind the scene video - Solar and Wheein were exhausted as it was very late in the night and they still had to wait for their turn to film the MV. As they were too exhausted, you can see they started to loosing it, the sanity was gone and they started singing dissing/sarcastic lines to each other and to the camera.

So basicly when they film the MV they would film it for 24 or 36 hours straight nonstop to save the money on renting the location/props/equipments because they are from a very small conpany and doesn’t have a big budget like some other groups. They film it through out the night nonstop so the only time they can rest during the whole process is when they take turn filming their solo shot => the other will sleep in the car with make up on for a brief moment and then continue with filming again(and still Hwasa said they would have to spend at least $100k if they want to make a proper MV, big groups from big company like Black Pink usually easily spends a few millions dollars on one MV). Also cause they started small, early in their career, they had to perform at 4 festivals in a days (at difference province) so the only time to rest is when travel on the road to the next events. The lyrics is very real and literally. Moonbyul is usually the first one to film and she has to wake up before anyone else for make up (like at 2am). Hwasa conplain that the others too lound in the car she can’t sleep. Solar and Wheein conplain that they are usually the last one to film and were exausted at that point

you are not the first reactor i've watched fall very hard and very fast for mamamoo, but definitely the first i've seen start with all their crackhead songs 🤣🤣 honestly makes me so happy because their funny side is so endearing even as they are also such incredible artists with an equally incredible discography. all i know is i'm so here for this journey! does this mean we'll get some videos of them screwing around and such too? 🤣 you might run out of their explicitly jokey songs, but you can't escape their goofiness (like checking out some of the adlibs and such they do with performances of title tracks like "um oh ah yeh," or even how they can't stop themselves from messing around during [most] dance practice videos) either way, i agree with the others that you gotta see Waggy. the one from yu huiyeol's sketchbook is probably my fave, but any of the performances of it will get a laugh i'm sure

Lol the song is a crack song from their TV show where Solar and Wheein were complaining of working so much they may as well sleep in the car. So it was all turned into this song. Unnie is older sister and that is when they Dis solar and they Dis wheein by name, so really it is Moonbyul and Hwasa making fun of the other two. Good luck with keeping it to Mondays, Mamamoo has over 400 videos. In fact, with mamamoo, Solos, Sub groups, OSTs, covers, collabs they release over 25 songs every year. They did that This year already and that was while doing a world tour across asia and the US and while Wheein is releasing albums, Solar and Moonbyul were just in Poland and some other countries in europe for their two rabbits then indonesia, Hwasa also just released a couple of songs. They all will do christmas covers most likely. You will need more than Mondays only.

The closest the group gets to 'normal' songs would be their covers of other artists. But when they cover songs, they become thieves; they just do their thing and the songs become THEIRS. They do (obviously) have original material that you might think of as 'normal' but once you really pick the songs apart and look at the whats, hows, whys and sometimes even whos, they turn out to be MIND-BENDING songs. Really nothing 'normal' when you dig beneath the surface. ALL of their stuff is top-notch, though. As some others have put it, their entire discography is no-skip, it's ALL great stuff from the Queens (even their commercial songs...you have not lived until you hear a full-length, professionally made, well-done song and only later realize it's actually a commercial...).

It's not skeeping in the car waiting to perform but the other way around. Solar and Wheein joked around during the MV shot for Taller than you cause they had to stay till the little hours to shot their parts and had the next schedule on the next day. So they had to sleep in the car on their way home without taking of their make up to get at least a little bit of sleep. And their CEO made a song of it.
