This has to be one of the most underrated coasters. I liked this way more than MF honestly this is more intense and has more airtime

Can agree, but they really don't have the space for one unless they took this out, but they won't as it's the biggest ride in the park

I know it's not going anywhere, I even said that.mi just realized they own the land between timberwolf, patriot, and steelhawk, to the highway. They could put a coaster there.

Gotta love that classic lift disengage clacking sound. It's become a sound of nostalgia at the park for me. I believe some arrow coasters make a similar sound. So does steel eel but Wild thing never has the 2 times I been to valleyfair.

Best part about this ride is being in the left front seat. Nothing to the left of you for the entire climb so it feels like you could fall out, you end up stuck for a few seconds just staring at the drop while the back of the coaster catches up... that's the best thrill of the ride, honestly.

Mamba is very loud. The anti-rollbacks on the lift hill and the mid-course and final brakes are LOUD! Also, there is this thunderous bang that occurs when the last car disengages from the lift chain, which can be heard clearly over a thousand feet away. I've been riding Mamba since 2004, but the past two years, I've worn ear plugs on this ride. Mamba is still my favorite ride, with an excellent view of Kansas City and amazing air on the first two hills. The front car gives amazing hang on the first drop and ejector air on the second hill, while the back really yanks you over the first two hills. Going down the second drop, it feels as if riders on the left side will hit their arms on the mid-course brakes.

+TheFakeCuber You cannot hear that sound in this video, unless you were being sarcastic. The chain disengage sound seems to primarily travel to the sides and back of the lift, rather than towards I-435 (west). There are two videos where you can really hear the sound, one of them is from July 2008 from username Wellington Doi and a video uploaded last week from the Planet Snoopy area by username Slides to Rides. In addition, the sound is not always that loud. I think it has to do with the amount of weight/distribution in the cars.

this looks like its going to be awesome and it kind of reminds me of wild thing at valleyfair in shakope in mn, but 1 thing they should have put on is a tunnel and how many trains does it run at a time

Usually 2. I know it sounds crazy but this ride is hardly ever busy. This was my first ever roller coaster and when I rode we were 3rd in line.

My father doesn't really think much of hyper coasters anymore (whether they're B&M, Morgan, or any kind). The reason why is because after riding bigger and faster coasters like Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force, they can fell a little tame.

Phantom's Revenge is pretty much a Morgan. All that's left from Arrow are the brake run, station and lift hill. The rest is Morgan track.

Ive never ridden a Morgan mega coaster, but would it be correct to say that they ride similarly to the Arrow hyper coasters like Magnum XL-200 and Phantom's Revenge?

This is pretty much the same as Steel Force at Dorney Park actually. They have almost the exact same layout as each other.

They are close but the turn around is more intense and not elongated on the entrance to it for mamba. But yes they are similar

+Tony Kim Agreed to both the similarities between Mamba and Steel Force and Patriot and Talon. The turnarounds are a bit different between Mamba and Steel Force, but other than that they are very similar.

Oh sorry :( I like Intamin and follow them a lot and B&M I also love your videos! And I would like to join but how old do you have to be I'm planing on joining next summer I'm 12 now so I will 13 then.. and also how much money is it :3 but I love roller coasters! and my home park is Great Adventure :D so I am a little spoiled but yeah.. The only two parks I've been to in my life time was Cedar Point Rode everything front row :D and Great Adventure same thing :D

How is everyone saying that the Mamba is fun, or great stuff like that. I absolutely HATE the mamba. I just hate the airtime but other than the 2 big drops then I guess the Mamba is OK.

Morgan is now in south eastern Kansas and now has been merged into chance rides in Whichita KS

Yes, Morgan is still around. Well, sort of. They were acquired by Chance Rides in 2001 and were rebranded as Chance-Morgan. Not all of Morgan’s coasters are boring tho. Give Phantom’s revenge and Superman El Ultimó escape a try. You’ll be blown away.
