Mamba Ultra 1 Watt - Incredible Results on Botched Test

I decided to do a basic FPV video range test with a new quad. I just wanted to get a basic sense of useable range of the Mamba Ultra 1W vtx, and get more familiar with the capabilities of my gear.
This isn't a 'lets see how far we can make this quad go" video.
I screwed up two parts of the test, and still got amazing results. You'll see it in the video, but my first error was standing at 90 degrees to my flight. This made my patch antenna mostly useless. I was more than happy with the result, especially after I realized my 2nd mistake when I got to my next flying location - its at the end of the video.
It was very windy, and there was smoke from forest fires in the north of Saskatchewan, so the video is hazy.

@3:32 definitely 💩bro. Lol. I was never really the one to test distance either. I never fly far. @4:27 nice matty lol. And little freestyle at the end. That’s really good distance for analog also.

I was really impressed at the distance considering I was only at 25mW. I got the information I wanted. At 200+ mW that would be a comfortable distance. I don't usually fly far either, but some of my flights go out bit - it is the prairies out here after all! Last week I flew over about 500m of fields just to reach a cool abandoned farm house - but that's pretty far for me.

OMG!! 1 km and the signal is horrible? Throw that rubbish away.

Thanks for the comment. The video did get pretty crappy in this 'test'. Actually, the result is quite good - the test was badly done. The vtx was only at 25mW, and I was facing 90 degrees off line with 1 omni and a patch antenna (almost useless at 90 degrees to vtx antenna). 1 km at 25 mw and only 1 omni antenna receiving is not bad at all. I continue to use this VTX on several builds with good success. With power boosted up, and me facing the right direction, this VTX regularly takes me out many km without any video issues.

@@blueskyfpv 25 mw was good, I thought it was at 1w.
