Hi, I know it’s been 6 years and this video is probably considered ancient by this point, but I just recently got into Homestuck and I cannot stop watching this video. The animation is so smooth and consistent, and the characters are portrayed so well that you can tell which character is which only by their silhouette! Every character’s movements are just breathtakingly awesome, I would pick a favorite but then i would pick every single one. And the transitions, just... _wow._ Even though I’ve watched it a hundred times, I am still blown away by how damn good this is. It’s obvious that so much time and effort went into this animation and I will continue to hit the replay button a zillion more times!

Ok but somethin im noticing after playing it TWENTY TIMEs is that after Fef's EPIC trident flips, Eridan attempts to copy her to look cool, but then gives up and shoots the gun instead. Which could... Actually be symbolism, considering he wants to match Fef's level of royalty (i think?) and be the perfect person for her but instead he gives up and resorts to violence. Edit: Also now noticed how Vriska's dice turned into cage bars... Which might be symbolism for being caged and not feeling like she fits in. (EDIT 3, edit of the edit) realized that Vriska BREAKS those bars by finally leading the group and being welcomed in towards the end of the comic. Edit 2: Tavros's little bit isn't that impressive (him runnin) but while the animation is STILL RAD it's symbolism for how he's overshadowed by everyone else being cool. Like, Aradia and Karkat are below him but Aradia has cool dead ghost-y powers and Karkat is a cool leader! So both animations overshadow his. Edit 4: I think Gamzee's has symbolism for Calliope and Caliborn since he raised them? Not sure if the random color swap of the pins was intentional or I'm reading too much into this but maybe it's how it's red on the right side and green on the left (cherub colors!) and he hits his head, and the colors switch, meaning they switch fronts? Edit 5: Ok I might be getting too much into analyzing this. Equius broke his bow and then threw it to the side and punches, breaking the screen. Maybe it's how he tries his best but resorts to what he knows in the end and he ends up always breaking/ruining it? Edit 6: I'm pretty sure EVERYONE noticed but when Kanaya applies lipstick you can see the purple blood dripping down her mouth and it shows some rivalry to Gamzee OK that is all I can find PLEASE tell me if there's more because I am too into this.

The pros of watching this at 1.25 speed: -The beat is that much better. -The characters' movements are even smoother. -The Korean rapping is even more hardcore. -Every character just looks that much more like a ninja. -Especially Nepeta, like dang. -Get me some toast, because this is my jam. I love Kanaya. She's just this super beautiful, super elegant VAMPIRE in a long skirt who goes from applying lipstick to wielding a CHAINSAW! A CHAINSAW! I didn't even know it was possible to gracefully CHAINSAW, but then Kanaya came along and proved me wrong.

Remembering how inspired I was by this video in high school and how I excitedly shared it with all my friends who were into Homestuck makes me so happy. I still think about this from time to time and I just.. I could never get over how good the animation was back then and I still can’t now. You did an amazing job, thank you for the absolute nostalgia bomb every time it pops up in my mind.

I always admire the Midnight Crew's legs in this. All the humans and trolls have distinct colors and shapes associated with them, but all we see of the Midnight Crew (Except Snowman and Slick) are their legs. That's damned impressive to me, and always will be.

I can't express how much this video means to me. It was the first Homestuck thing I saw, about half a year ago, around January, and its what really pushed me into finally reading Homestuck. Not to mention this video is the source of inspiration I have to one day make an animation of the versions of my friends I make in my mind in a similar way to this, introducing a character quickly then moving on, but anyways, I just have to say a major thank you, since I wouldn't be into an amazing fandom without this video.

I don't think the fandom has died, I just think it got normal. it used to be so huge and full of some cringy people, but now it's not so obnoxious due to undertake becoming a big thing and in general other fandoms. (not to mention people will come back on 4/13) so don't lose hope, it hasn't died, it's only died down a bit

I know this is old, but this really inspired me to animate. As a young artist who's still in junior high, I almost bow to people who take their time to draw, animate and do anything related to art as a passion. But 12 frames per second?? That's freaking amazing for this quality of an animation. I don't even have a computer or an electronic drawing pad, however when I get the chance to get one, I will try my best to make animations as well as yours

A few months after this was made I got heavily into homestuck. I would always jam to this song, never really taking the time to look it up. Now 4 years later, since the death of homestuck, like many others, I was trying to find a new fandom to drag me back down into the hell I so dearly loved. I hopped around for a few months until finally, something caught my attention. That thing my friend was Kpop. Now I stan 20 groups and soon to be more. I love both Block B and Homestuck with all my heart, and I would like to thank you for being a big part of my life and happiness. I truly came full circle

oh man it's such a trip coming back to this video.... it was, what, two years ago when I first saw this? just a few months before i was introduced to kpop, and while I was still in my primarily homestuck phase. I didn't realize this song was kpop until sometime last year when I happened to come across this video again and saw the song credit and recognized the name Block B... and I just find it kind of funny how I was like "wow this song is really catchy" whenever I watched this animation because look at me now, complete and total kpop trash
