That's how Americans are, self-centered and ignorant people. In their minds, the whole world speaks english, so when they hear a different language they find that weird.

+Luis Clulow.... But also big ramy ignored the crowd and kept speaking confidently ... He was a poor guy... He has his own dream... Nobody know how much he struggled to be in this place... Its filthy world.. I respect this guy so much

they weren't laughing because he was speaking Arabic. They were laughing because kai green said something inflammatory and when the announcer brought it up they started laughing because they were amused by it. Now the reason they started to laugh when he started speaking is because they looked at his expression and thought he was going to fire back at kai greene but he was super respectful and humble, so laughing seemed out of place, but if they understood what he said they would of clapped not laugh. and this is evident because when the translator started talking they started to laugh again because they were still expecting something juicy, and the translator giggling didn't help either, but when was done and they got a picture of what Rami actually said they clapped. they weren't making fun of him it was just a lighthearted situation. its called playing the crowed.

+doğa özcan I thought this is 2015 conference, anyway most important part of the translation is him saying the first year of competing with the giants he felt like it was a dream come true and he was just thankful for for just sharing the same stage with them, but after he got off that stage that day he said the next year im determined to be a competitor not just feeling the privilege to be there, instead he will go for the win and wants to be a strong competitor

‏I would like to welcome all those who are present and all lovers of sport to all over the world.. ‏In the first I would like to thank all-people who helped me the previous period from my beginnings in Kuwait and here in America and all those who supported me, ‏For me, Mr. Olympia 2014 is my first year I was worried because I with the heroes I wish to meet them ‏From the previous year I took the decision after descending from the stage "I have to be a strong competitor enough I have seen a lot of mr Olympia previously but now iam a competitor I have to be a bit of responsibility I have to be a strong competitor I attended to compete against bodybuilding heroes, ‏With my love and appreciation to all of them are heroes I dreamed of standing by them but coming to the competition equal among all people ‏All the people are tired and practiced hard and the success comes from God after exerting effort without mentioning the names of them whatever the name I come to be a strong competitor.,,

why are people laughing? is their IQ below 90 to where they can't comprehend the idea that not everyone speaks English? I feel bad for ramy in the first place he always has to talk to people who speak English for the press, he always looks uncomfortable talking
