Hey man! I just set up my 4k tv and am trying to run duckstation and doplphin on it but my frame rate drops to the point where the games get super laggy. I tried to change the resolution of my tv but that didn't work! I am running a gtx1060. Would love your feedback :).

I enjoy your content. I've been in the emulation scene since 1999, but because I was in college during the tech boom of the early 2000s, it drives me nuts when you say 16 TO 9. I was taught to say 16 BY 9, so one small tech word 😂 Otherwise, keep up the great work!]

I have learned to let it go with 15 great/nieces and great/nephews and the hundred or so of their friends constantly destroying technology (and not being able to figure out what is wrong with their rigs even with me telling them it needs to do more than look cool) by not properly cooling but as long as the aesthetic is pleasing for streaming that's all that matters. They all follow each other and think that's enough to get Asus or Msi attention.

I have a question with rpcs3 i try running a game and it says unhandeled win32 exeption 0xC0000005 i dont have a nvida graphics card which means i cant use vulkan. How do i fix this. Edit: it also says this ps3 application most Likely crahsed

Individual games are hard to find ,sometimes rom set folders are huge too huge to download ,I don't need all them games I just need the ones that are nostalgic to me which are not that many .

I've been running mame arcade for about 20 years and every game that I have plays there are different versions of Mame and the one you are running is not compatible with a lot of roms, the version I have runs every arcade rom out there even NEO-GEO

I don't know if it is still true but in the past to make MAME work you need a rom set that matches the MAME emulator version. For instance I have the MAME emulator version .217 and the rom set version .217. It is an older set but they work. I was having problems finding the set for the (at the time) current MAME emulator version and decided to get the emulator version that matched the rom set I could find. This was 3 years ago. I find it is easier that way. Find the most current rom set version you can then get the matching emulator version.

Gotta match the version of the rom with the version of mame its for, theres tools to update rom sets

@@TacticalPower88 I didn't know you can update rom sets. When I set up mine I found it extremely frustrating trying to match the rom set to the (at the time) current mame version. Then I realized the site lets you download old versions of the emulator. That was my backdoor. It was just a matter of cross referencing available rom sets to mame versions. Someone else said the set are are extremely large, .217 it only 65 gigs. That's not that big now-a-day. HHD storage is cheap. That's for around 5-6,000 games. With something like launchbox it is easy to sort and hide what you don't want to see.

You can search on Google for the files that are missing. It's a hit or miss in getting those files

Delete mame.cfg from Mame folder and mame.ini from initial folder then start the mame again
