Wow, I actually don't hate this. Skimming as usual. It has an intro, that's good. I like the melancholic guitars and the way they sound, all good so far. Tracks seem fairly standard, but for the most part I like the sound. It's a bit too heavy for me and the vocals are too much in your face, but those are just minor things that I personally don't like about it. Of course, this is only 18 minutes, sho who knows what happens if you drag it out over 40 minutes. But yeah, I'm surprised, I don't have anything bad to say really other than small personal taste issues, but otherwise ... good job. I'm saving this, maybe I'll come back to see if this band produced a full length and actually listen to it in full when one of those mega rare moods strike me.

You might like Blackened Doom more if softer vocals are more your thing. I gotta be in a proper existential sort of mood for Doom metal tho

Nah, I can do harsch vocals, though typically I prefer the higher range and for them to be more in the back of the mix, a little quiet and with reverb. Of course, if all but the vocals is good, I'll still listenin, unless they're too grading. I actually don't listen to atmo black anymore, and hardly even black metal unless it's in a playlist. Only when I get drunk haha. Thanks though, have a good day.

We need hot black metal. Deserts and fields can be beautiful too in their isolation, particularly deserts. Fields give a sense of false lonelyness even though you're surrounded by wildlife. There's plenty of bm about deep, dark woods, but I haven't encountered any that I can recall about Californias coastline. :D
