I got the vinyl when it originally came out and now have the CD and all I can say is what a Brilliant Album it is and one of my favourites of all.

Damn...so good to hear this again. I had the cassette, wore it out and lost it. Great playing, great melodies, heavy and heartfelt tunes. I had seen John McCoy live with Gillan in Toronto in 1980 (a towering presence on stage, trust me) and kept track of everyone. I will seek out the rest. RIP Nicky..what a guy, what a voice.

Heard this a few weeks ago cant even remember where, knew i knew it but didn’t know it. Asked my parents if they knew it, my dad pulled the CD straight out the cupboard. Apparently i used to make them play it over and over when i was 3. I’m now 33, amazing how things you can’t actively remember stick.

That’s right! We went to an all-you-can-eat Indian buffet in Willesden while making the album, and the staff were horrified when the band walked in.
