IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED! MAMMOTH BIKE PARK OPENED FOR THE 2023 SEASON!
I had lost hope that one of our favorite bike parks would open this summer, but the trail crew at Mammoth put in a heroic effort and got 4 of the lower mountain trails running, and offered deeply discounted tickets so we couldn't resist. We headed up at 4am, rode the park every second they were open, got bomb Mexican food at Salsa's, then headed home.

They just opened up a bunch more trails, hopefully they can get the upper mountain open this year.

Depending on the time of year, it will be slightly different. I think right now its $65 or so.

I like your channel but lately it's been over the top. Let's be honest here... There are basically 3 trails open. That's a shell of mammoths true potential. Those trails are OK. The epicness is a bit overstated in the interest of pleasing sponsors. MMmoth isn't even worth riding this year unless you are there with family and are bored.

We mentioned only 5% of the mountain open, and we really enjoyed our day even with the early season challenges. And with 50% off with our Summit passes it was $15. With contact we would stand by how fun it is, but if you want the full Mammoth experience this is probably not the year. We are not sponsored or supported by any of the places we travel. That allows us to speak our minds as best as possible.
