THIS is how it's done. No loops, no virtual instruments, no auto-tune. Live instrumentation. He's got melodies, riffs, hooks, grooves, tone and he's got guitar solos. Wolfie is killing it and exceeding all expectations!

@@BlackToof yeah nothing will ever be truly live instrumentation ever again, not 100%. There will always be some form of digital effects, looping, vst manipulation and more.

@@BlackToof Not sure his production skills match his songwriting and performing abilities...too much compression and his lead vocal is buried in the mix. But Wolfie's definitely a heavy hitter with a bright future...even if he was born with a silver pick in his mouth.

Eddie will always hold a deserved place in the pantheon of guitar greats. He was a key figure to whom many innovations can be traced. But Wolfie's talent for composition, songwriting, and melodic flair are much more to my personal tastes. How often can one say that about the son of a truly legendary musician? Absolutely remarkable.

It’s really hard to compare their music being that there’s close to a half century between the two eras they developed. Most of those kids jumping around couldn’t tell you three Van Halen record titles, and the most extreme example might not know who his dad even was.

How this guy is able to create a sound truly his own is incredible. Anyone with less talent would've ridden his father's coattails but not this guy. He's got his OWN music in him and we're all blessed to hear it. Immense talent.

I’m so glad to see other people saying this! Most comments I see on social media or news articles are saying he’s selfish for not wanting to replace his dad in Van Halen or other stupid shit like that. That or they berate him for mentioning his dad in interviews because that means he’s just riding on his dad’s fame. FFS. 🙄 I believe his dad would be very proud of him for making his own way and coming up with his own original music! And doing a damn good job of it nonetheless! 😎

Valerie must be an incredible Mom, just + his own nature. Glad he at least got good years with his Dad having found sobriety & peace vs the alternative. Saw them this past week with Alter Bridge. The whole band is melodic and powerful. I was smiling the whole time. I've seen VH many times and Wolfie has soo much talent. Ed would be proud!! This is gonna be fun to watch. One of the best concerts ever and I've seen hundreds.

Impressive modern rock. What a relief from the alternate rock music that came out and put down the melodic rock we listened to in the 80s. It's also great to see his mom Valerie in this video. I'm a fan of the whole family.

VH was so huge that almost any rock since has some elements. Wolfie and crew are simply great. Yes his name and bloodlines are inseparable to his story, but Wolfie is great because of him and him alone.

It’s got summer vibes anthem written all over it. First, it’s got a melody and hook that catches you from the gate. Second, the lyrics are witty, tongue in cheek, and Wolf humor that we have come to love and demand. Third, that guitar solo is funky, fun & upbeat w/an 80s arena rock feeling that makes you smirk as you sing, now fuck off & back away & let me breathe! Another solid song on an album I’m so full of anticipation to hear in its entirety. Thank God it’s being released 8/4 bc I’m not sure how much longer I can wait to sink my teeth into this meaty sophomore album from Mammoth WVH!! I absolutely adore this song! I always sing along with Wolf when I listen to it! This man is not just Eddie Van Halen's son, he is really much more than that, he can play multiple instruments and sing even more sharply, such a talent!
