Enjoyable video. I for one actually like the "Mamod" letters cast into the smokebox. They are quite right to be proud of this engine.

I have yet to own any Mamod machines, but the idea of some of the Mamodifications I've seen has always tickled my brain, and seeing this kinda catches my fancy. Maybe some sort of G1 standard gauge saddle tank for a foundry.

I thought it was a nice piece of kit when I saw it at the shows I want to get my hands on a mamod Brunel

I have a Brunel. Honestly, I'd recommend just saving the extra £200 and getting a Roundhouse engine to be frank. Mamod's build quality is... questionable.

Hi! I noticed the new Stirling and Quarry locos have lack of water gauge glass, I was wondering how can we predict the water level of these locos while they’re running?

Sadly, without the gauge it's a guessing game. The water tank is designed so that the gas runs out before the water (for obvious reasons!), I always fill it full till it over flows, then pull about 40ml back out then she's good for a full run

If it runs at 40-50 PSI, do you have to get a boiler ticket?

Hi , as its below 1 inch scale, you get away without having to have a boiler ticket :)
