James Plitsas targets Visitors who come to Miami Beach, acts friendly, pretends to either ne an upcoming artist who needs support or a club promoter who can get them into Miami's HOTTEST clubs for FREE but he would need to Follow them back on instagram 1st and takes their phones to do so but really is also going to whatever their financial servicing app is and sends himself either $1k, $1.2k, $1.5k and sometimes more than $3,500 dollars depending on their balance via ZELLE, Cash App or Venmo using his real name and information which is how the serial SCAMMER got caught and arrested multiple time but keeps doing it over and over again after bonding out of jail. Only thing I can think of he did was act like his IG name was hard to spell when exchanging to follow or people couldn’t hear good over event/club background noise to type it in themselves and he said it was easier to type it in himself or they just trusted and handed to him to let him follow himself on there account since the video said it started with asking to follow his IG to show support as an up and coming artist…they just didn’t know their financial “support” was going to be involved too smh Definitely gotta be vigilant 🙏🏽

Instead of bashing the victims for being naïve or thinking they’re dumb for giving their phone to someone I think you guys should be thanking 🙏🏾 them for getting this man off the streets and making a story like this aware because nobody before this story knew that people was able to do this to this extreme & this easily 👏🏾. And maybe some people did but usually unless you are a heavy researcher like I am or you’ve been through it yourself or you’re the person who’s done this to someone this information is not something that everybody is aware of because if they were this wouldn’t be a topic video on her channel right now to spread awareness 💯. Yes you shouldn’t give your phone to random strangers, but sadly everybody doesn’t think like that. Some people are nice or naïve and are willing to give someone their phone if they feel they need it for something and that doesn’t mean it’s OK for them to be manipulated. Also thank you to those victims (& this channel) for bringing awareness to this shit, everybody has been scammed in some type of way in life whether being in a relationship, a friendship, a family member or a product scam, online scam, everybody’s been played & bamboozled in some type of way. I’d say check yourself before you disrespect victims in general because 8/10 they’re bringing awareness to stuff you didn’t even know about before they had the pussy & courage to share their trauma & manipulation for justice & change. 💯

This is why I go by the rule do not allow no one to use your phone, even if their cousin phone don't work mine is not available. People in this day and age are all for scamming and stealing while your sound asleep. Not everyone is like this but I know too many people who are getting scammed .
