It's because of this COPPA rule. Google got fined $170m for collecting childrens data without an adults consent. As a result Google/KZfaq have implemented a new policy which means that software/KZfaq numpties scan videos and if they think they are in any way for kids targeted advertising is removed, as are comments and other things. I'm not 100% on all the implications, but I know that it has/is going to screw over lots of content creators. That is why Dean is making sure he makes it 100% clear that these videos are not for kids. That approach however has not stopped Google, KZfaq and their software/numpties from marking non children focused channels/videos as 'child friendly'. As usual a big company makes a fk up and as a result innocent parties end up paying the price.
