He has trauma and insecurities and when I look at him it makes me so sad because I see all that in him . He’s very lucky to have a strong woman like her . I’ve been sober over 3 years my boyfriend/baby father was with me and has stayed with me through all of it from when it started until it ended and I don’t know what I would have done without him . We drink like MAYBE 3 times a year and he never did hard core drugs like I did thank the lord 🙏🏼 but having a strong partner helps & they will stick w you through it help you through it 🥹💜

I think her point was that once you're an addict the phrase used is that "I'm a recovering addict" because every day is a choice and a push to not use or do the old habits. Once you're an addict the ability to retract is always life long. He has to admit that fully. Though my heart does go out to him because he seems like a nice man who just has battles.
