David Bennett was once a brash young commercial diver and chief engineer of the research vessel Aloha. His harsh personal philosophy was: "you cut your way through life to survive". But one night he was caught in a violent storm off the coast of California, where he drowned. Although technically "dead", he encountered beings of light, revived his life, and glimpsed his future, which resulted in a complete paradigm shift for him.
He later discovered he had stage IV lung and bone cancer-so advanced that his spine had collapsed. Miraculously, he survived once again. These encounters with death taught him even more about living, loving, and finding purpose in his life. David enjoys retired life as a public speaker, author, and energy healer.
