Kenneth Anderson recounts how a chance meeting with a local poacher named Byra turns into a close friendship of over 25 years, and who appears in many of his subsequent hunting stories. He shares two enthralling jungle adventures involving Byra, including a vicious bear attack and the hunt for the man-eating tiger of Mundachipallam. The latter being one of Kenneth Anderson's officially confirmed man-eater kills.

My brother ; 53, lives alone on his farm ; 87 km outside of our town, we live in a very remote area here in South Africa. I record your readings so I can give it to my brother to listen to ( I hope you don’t mind) He have a big love for hunting and nature. He ask me to tell you all of this, he absolutely love your readings, he will sit outside by the fire in the evenings and listen to your readings when he is alone, you are the only company he have, I think he have listen to all your stories a hundred times. He say thank you, he loves your readings , please don’t stop and thank you for your company in the evenings…………

I don't know when Anderson wrote his jungle accounts, but he seems to have 'copied' Corbett's writing style and vocabulary in a big way. It's a bit annoying actually in my opinion. And he overdoes his descriptions - again in my opinion, even though some of his adventures are actually more amazing than Corbetts. My main gripe is that he persisted in calling leopards 'panthers'. A panther is a black leopard. But anyway, he was extremely brave and had a great life and may he rest in peace along with all the wonderful people and interesting animals he came in contact with.

At around 20 minutes in the video, Kenneth killing the innocent unsuspecting Tiger was a shameful act. Much worse than Byra as Byra used to kill deers for survival of his family and him. Out of hunger and poverty. Kenneth simply had no reasons. A cold blooded murder for reasons best known to him?!?
@Nature_is_metal

It is called Trophy hunting. Many people do it to this day. Well if you ask me, that tiger had an easy death as we're told, it was old. Dying from bullet is better that dying from starvation when it will be unable to hunt.

Yeah it was. Especially since just a while ago he claimed to have a conscience when Byra had killed a deer to feed his family. He was a trophy hunter mostly. A lot of tigers and Panthers in his stories are wrongly attributed to be man eaters as an excuse to shoot them down. These animals are just trying to survive.
