Some of them would fly off, some would just look at me. Once on a bike ride at night, I had a gang of them block the road. They just looked up at me with a "What are you gonna do about it?" look.

@@rhythmisadancer8394 that also isn't that humane, a good method would be making it so you can be paid for testing a new product, so it's consensual testing whilst also supporting the person (for example economically struggling people getting money to survive), although this would have to have allot of restrictions and rules cause I can see this being abused heavily by companies on poor people even from other countries. As well the testing shouldn't have a high risk of side effects. This would help reduce risk of the product working differently on rats than humans.

Dramatic? No they are just angry and mean. Owls are very aggressive animals. They get the whole treatment that most animals get by so called animal lovers, which is they do not wanna attack you, but it is all nonsense. You always hear them say things like sharks, bears, dogs etc do not wanna attack humans, but it is highly absurd, because they do wanna attack anything that moves. Owls are predators, and they will attack humans and animals. They are interesting, beautiful animals, but do not be fooled, they are dangerous and very aggressive. Out of the common birds, eagles and owls are probably the most common birds to attack, but there is also birds like geese that are also very aggressive. I had a huge flock of geese try to attack me. There was probably 100 of them, and they were all spitting and hissing at me, and I had to walk backwards to the car. Turkeys will also attack, though they are not predators like owls or eagles. Of course all the big African birds will attack as well, and they actually kill people. Nonetheless, owls just like many other birds are mean, and yes they will attack, regardless of what those animal experts claim about them not attacking people.

@@BaxstabberzZ Tell me you can handle facts. I don't think you can. Yes owls are mean, and so are a lot of other birds. Not just mean, but vicious. Hawks, Owls, Eagles etc are predators. They will kill anything they can and eat it. Do you just think birds are species that just fly around? I have zero fear of birds, but just like other animals I have knowledge of how dangerous they can be. Are you really so dumb that you think someone stating facts means they are in fear? I have worked with these birds, which is how I know how dangerous they are. Grow up pansy!

Because as far as bird intelligence goes, birds of prey actually aren't among the top. They're actually pretty middling, which can be surprising to some since predators are usually at the top when it comes to brain power. But the real genius among birds are the parrots and corvids.

"People don't think Owls are smart." Since when? The classic cartoon depiction of these birds is of The Wise Old Owl wearing a mortarboard who speaks like an Oxford professor. This guy is literally the first person I've ever heard claim that anybody thinks owls are unintelligent.
@illuminotmereloaded6896
@illuminotmereloaded6896 2 жыл бұрын
I agree wholeheartedly, yet the guy seems intelligent himself. I would be willing to hear his reasoning for this, as I don’t imagine it’s entirely baseless. When most people think of owls symbolically, the first association is wisdom or intelligence. The second would probably be night. Anyway, bizarre.

That look, @ 0:05, that is exactly the look I got too many times from my ninth grade English teacher. I deserved it every time. Incredibly handsome birds.

We have Burrowing Owls at the Pompano Beach, FL airfield, and they are SO CUTE and so little. I love to see them when they come across the street into the park at night.

There was a burrowing owl family that set up shop on the berm of our freeway onramp years & years ago. Since in CA they're supposed to be protected, we were confident they were safe, we would really enjoy seeing them every morning. The dad owl would come out and beat/bate his wings at us and screech as the cars built up waiting for the light to change, so he could chase us off and protect his babies. Success! Every 3 1/2 minutes he was a hero! Every year we would watch the parents and then the babies come out to sit in the early morning light, just lovely! You can imagine our shock when one Monday morning we drove out and the entire berm had been cemented over! The owlets hadn't even fledged yet! My dad started making calls and we got the runaround of: progress, there was no wildlife present, not our responsibility - talk to: Highways, Transportation Dept., Fish & Game, State of CA, ETC., too late to do anything now, they're, so sad, deceased by now. Our local Boy Scout Troop got wind of it and they started a campaign to restore the habitat to it's original natural state. They won but when the jackhammered cement was removed (we were there) the bodies, bones really, of the two parents and approximately 3-4 owlets were found, the guy from Fish & Game said. He was PISSED! He promised to look into it and find out who so blatantly disregarded Conservation protocols. We all felt really bad for a long time. It took about 2 years before another family moved in, by then I had changed jobs so went a different route but my mother called me very excited to tell me about the new tenants! Made a special trip just to see them, so worth it! But I still do think about those little feathered ghosts from time to time. I am so sorry my species destroyed your beautiful existence through ignorance, contempt and in the name of progress. We have a lot to answer for.

The way the owls look into the camera is kind of funny. They all look & then seem to discuss what to do. I love it.

It is funny how the video starts with the owl's "Let me tell you somt'n Mista!" sassy body wave as it looked directly at the offending camera. And the accompanying music is perfect.
