A man's body was found in a barrel at Lake Mead, shot in the head, and thrown in the water as much as 50 years ago.
Before investigators can even begin to search for a suspect, they need to identify the victim-something that's been a challenge in this case.

Don't take out loans you can't pay back obviously this guy was a cheap shopper and no rings or at least.a.chain this was someone with a compulsive gambling problem that owed a 350 bucks but gave so many lame excuses he was disposed of on the pure facts of principle rather than the little bit of walking money he owed . Case closed.

Casino food was way cheap back then. Even a cheapskate could indulge on the early bird 14oz prime rib special from 2pm to 5pm.

You think they would have left anything valuable on the body? You don’t think if the guy had a gold ring or chain the people would have taken that too? They could have left the other stuff bc as people have said it isn’t expensive

I think they're also poking fun because innocent people don't make mob connections. If true, I'm not saying he deserved it, but that's playing with fire. You seem like the crappiness of the digital world is wearing on you. Log off for a while. Leave the internet alone for a couple of days, read a book, take a walk through town, have a conversation with a friend or friendly stranger.

I graduated high school in 1976. Different times, a 45 inch waste was normal back then. I have 32 inch waste and skinny. He was a big man, no neck, morbidly obese. People swim in that water, i don't. Absolute horrible find in the mud water. Poor Nevada has to deal with this. 50 years ago he was put out in the lake?

Figuring out who it is will be much easier than scientifically proving it. Unless the man's family had multiple male members that disappeared 50 years ago, it should be fairly straight forward. You only need a DNA hit on almost any relative. They'll lead investigators to the missing member of the family.
