I'm old. Maybe that's why I feel totally incredulous about some of these females! I've been married to the same man for 55years. We've been through good and bad together. We love each other. We support each other. Its not about how much he makes, how tall he is, its about falling in love - you can't pick who that will be, love doesn't work like that! I agree. Taking the last name of her husband is how a wife shows that she respects him. Respect is the foundation of a solid marriage, even more than love. Changing her last name shows also her level of commitment, since it makes it harder for her to divorce her husband (80% of all divorces are initiated by wives).

Posh's father was a customer of mine in the 80's. Her father did have a Rolls Royce. They lived in Cuffley in a nice house with a swimming pool and had a villa in Spain. He worked buying and selling electrical goods and had owned several businesses. I would say middle class, not working class. I would say that many claim workig class as they needed to work to live. It depends on you definition. BUT she certainly did not grow up on a council estate. They were a nice family and friendly people.

That poor guy now understand what is the drawback of fame. I've met my wife way before i became someone, not that i am big but you understand, so i don't have to think about is it for me or my money? 17 years and counting, this year we had quite a feat to celebrate, she is 34 and met me at 17 meaning half her life with the same guy. So rare nowadays, its actually add a feeling of luck and we cherish our couple even more because of that. Now in 6 years its my turn to celebrate it, we are thinking of marrying again as the best way to underline our story.
