Akane wasn't really second in command but she has always been a part of the student council alongside Manabu as a secretary. This shouldn't be a spoiler the anime just never showed that but Nagumo was the vice president and that's why now when Manabu has resigned he became the president

Btw manabu is in 3 A third year A Nagumo is 2 A second year A Sakayanagi is 1 A first year A So among them, nagumo is probably the most influential cause he controls all A to D of second years. And he used these points to buy for that third year girl he manipulated to fail

Nagumo was the vice president under Manabu actually. (That same spot Manabu offered to Ayanokoji remember ?!😅) Akane was just a secretary.

I hate how so many details were skipped!! They skipped like 15 chapters worth of details 💀💀 So here are some non spoilers explanation to the vague dialogues... 1) Yukimora was cjosen as the groups leader not by everyone's consent but they skipped the whole process of Ayanokoji joining the team and how yuki was chosen leader but it isnt important dw.. All you need to know here is that Ishizaki character developmemt is about to bloom ☺️☺️ (and yes he is onw of my fav characters in the novel) 2- Ayano and Koenji conversation was more mysterious in the novel, it seemed that Ayanokoji was trying to give it a shot with koenji but he gave up, leaving Koenji with that arm hold as a warning (I guess) koenji figures out Ayano is the mastermind then Ayano gives up on him after evaluating his usefulness to him ( remember that Ayano evaluates his tools before using them) 3- They skipped how Ayano took charge of ×2 the distance of the other members in the race 😂 ( they skipped everyone's distance too it was mentiomed in the novel but wtv) also the other members were surprised that Ayano did well in his test ( he did it to raise their score as much as possible) and in a way responding to koenji's stubborness ( if you dont listen and do your job well then I will decrease the amount of work you are assigned to) and if I remember correctly that woke sth up in koenji to atleast not mess up the run 4- How Ayano fugured out about the girls 🐢 here we are... So at day 1 Ayano asks Karuizawa to spy on the girls and look for any group that has a problem and keep them in check.... Karuizawa keeps sending letters to ayano about some possible girls that fits into the situation.... One of teh was the purple haired girl, she is a classmate of Horikita year 3 class A.... Ayano asks her if sth was wrong but she refuses his help ( well atleast he tried to help lol) When Ayano picked up the phone charm he takes advantage of it to get info out of the 2nd year girl who looked " way too close" to Nagumu ( the new president) but she doesnt seem to be one of his lackies unlike how Horikita senpai mentioned that the 2nd years are all under Nagumu's control , she is smart, she picks up on what Ayano wants mid convo and agrees to answer one of his questions even tho she knows he is taking advantage of her which also Ayano catchs on ( and keeps that in mind) to and then Ayano figures out the whole play lol... 5- what is going to happen to Horikita Manubu now....??? So first he had one of his classmates expelled that = him falling from class A to B ( Nagumu accounts this to a win bcs 3rd years have only 1 or 2 exams left and this is a HUGE blow that wont be easy to over come with just one or two exams to Manubu and so he starts hestirically laughing in victory) but he pulls and UNO card and saves her by buying her right not to be expelled which is btw = 20 MILLION points 💀 btw thatw as so shocking move in the novel!!!! Wveryone was gasping.... Even shocked Ayanokoji!!! He had already expected Horikota to lose and fall but sth wasnt part of his expectations and in a way we get a glimps of Ayano instrest getting pieked by Manubu becoming teh first character to intrest Ayano. 6- lastly Manubu is now in huge danger not only he lost 20 million points that might have been critical to the 3 years in their upcoming final exams tests ( somw of which will be joined with the 2nd years) but also he will be directly attacked by Nagumu who revealed his two faced nature so that makes Manubu an easy target to Nagumu Btw Nagumu's plan is to Humilate Manubu by not making him graduate a a Class A student and makes his class drop in ranks N. B the whole convo between Ryuen, Nagumu and Manubu was actually heard in the novel but Idk if I should spoil content of it so I wont, lets wait and see if they will later add it to teh story 👍 ( snippet :- they talked about Ayano lol)

I am sad that Nagumo exposing Koenji's plan and Hashimoto reaction to Ayanokoji scenes didn't get featured

Manabu is in 3rd year, the last year in the school. Nagumo is a 2nd year, 4 Classes per year so basically this was a 1v4 in terms of points. And to buy someone out from expulsion is 20M points and 300 Class Points.
