Great to see actor Lance Reddick (John Wick series, The Wire, and Lost) in an excellent leading role. Woman Sword-Fu, ahhhh Yeah! And kudos to Heather Schmidt - a triple threat (Writer, Director and Composer) for this excellent addition to the Dragon chronicles that we've all come to crave. "Here Be Dragons..." Give me more!

Myself and my wife were hiking the Hollywood Hills and visited Bronson Caves. To our surprise they were filming this movie there that day. We got to speak with Lance Reddick. He was super cool and was an honour to meet him!

Love the movie, main characters, especially the part where man & dragon inside the cave communicated to each other by spitting fire the same way🔥🔥🔥🔥🐲

wow wow wow...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, not that anyone needs my opinion but it's still a free country (for the time being) so here goes: Those who think the production in this film was anywhere near that of a big-budget movie hasn't seen Godzilla of Jurassic Park or even How To Train Your Dragon, the dragon here was just okay, at least it wasn't a guy in a rubber suit. The sword fight was a little stiff but it got it's point (ouch.) across and fleshed out the characters and their motivations a little better. The girl was okay but the big guy was actually pretty intimidating and had an interesting way about him. The main character, Lance, was perfect in his role for a couple reasons, not all having to do with his acting chops, which brings me to the the premise and the resolution: The idea of a sword-maker who did part of his work by eating and blowing fire was unique and the perfect set-up for what was to come and his interaction with the dragon. I adored the image of Lance fearlessly kneeling down to remove the shackle from the dragons leg, the torchlight reflecting from his shaved head and powerful muscles, very engaging scene that doesn't need me to trumpet about it. Then, the resolution, where everything comes together and the nucleus of a revolution is born...satisfying, logical and just enough to get me thinking that a full-length movie or at least another short film building on this one could be successful with one caveat: It needs better production which translates into money and I mean MONEY. To skimp on quality will only send this great concept down in flames, whereas a healthy investment could pay off and pay off good. The present, evolving conditions in society and, by extension, the world of movies is ready for some genre challenging ideas, this may be one of them.

You know it just goes to show you, he rescues he dragon,declares its going to help the peasants....and boof, it flies off like a fresh caught tame spooked by a dimetrodon, from my favorite video game ark survival evolved. I'm a bit surprised the dragon didn't speak to the man, lots of mystical creatures are assumed unintelligent beasts due to the looking ferocious, usually speak if someone knows how to connect or comunicate with them. Like a story I have about a human family that was friends with dragons, including blacks in their swamps. Old stories with real people too.

The plot is good but the acting, especially the sword fighting, is high school stuff. The woman sword fighter could not stop smiling during her sword fight. Otherwise, good short film. I see a lot of calls for a full-length movie or a series. I do not believe it would make it in today's world. Just my perspective on what I saw. Not with movies and action and dragons like Game of Thrones.
