"Lightning never strikes in the same place twice" is a common phrase to reassure us. But the likelihood of lightning striking the same place or person twice is actually very likely. Whether years apart or not. And in the case of our guest, today life hit him a few times harder than most.
Dannion Brinkley's near-death experiences of being struck by lightning for the first time at just 25 years old, which subjected him to excruciating pain and endless surgeries that affected his brain, heart, nerve endings and tissues, are still capable of today. to support others and share his journey at 71 years old.
This ordeal transformed his life. For over 40 years, Dannion has volunteered at hospice across the country.
In 1994, Dannion co-wrote and published his record-breaking 25-week New York Times bestselling autobiographical book, Saved by the Light: The True Story of a Man Who Died Twice and the Profound Revelations. who died twice and his profound revelations).
He describes his supposed near-death experience and the consequences of being clinically dead for approximately twenty-eight minutes. In the end, he told the story of a dark tunnel, a crystal city, and a "cathedral of knowledge" where thirteen "angels" shared with him over a hundred revelations about the future, some of which he claims have come true.
In our interview, Dannion talks about his involuntary departure from his body, having just been struck by himself, and seeing his loved one receive over 180,000 volts of electricity as he watched his loved ones and paramedics try to save him.
