I know exactly what you mean. I see heart wrenching videos and very happy and uplifting ones like these and they have all taught me to stop what I am doing and give my dogs some kisses. It will never be enough but when the day comes to let them go, I want to know that I did plenty.

@@mokkorista I believe my words did not sound as intended. Bull terriers are absolutely friendly, specially when socialization starts in their early days. However, they would trade any other company for that of a human.

When I was little, and living in East End of London, there was an elderly man who lived a few houses away. He lived on his own but with a pure white bull terrier. The dog would not let anyone near the front gate, even my mother - unless I was there! Then the dog would put his paws on the front gate and let me pet him, while my mother would talk to the owner! To this day I am not afraid of dogs (but I will be careful if necessary!) and I love bull terriers, especially white ones like your Tom! He is so beautiful! 😍

I'm really surprised that people think these dogs are aggressive because they are just not. They are funny and cute and daft as a brush, but here n England we do not have the same fear of the bull terrier as in other countries. The problem with dogs, is the humans. And I think that the bull terrier is like one dog split into millions of dogs, they are all the same, the temprement , the energy, the daft things they do, so lovely. Like a little wooden table shaped like a dog.

I can only agree with you. A dog will be whatever it is raised to be regardless how big or small how strong or frail, whatever the breed. If you raise your dog to be friendly, if your relationship is based on trust and respect, good communication and honesty, commitments and love, your dog will be as sweet and loyal as can be. Something that is absolutely true is that the love you take is just as big as the love you give. And it it's the same with people and it's the same with dogs, or whatever you invest your love in.

This is the dog breed that was in the film Oliver, so I never associated it with aggression. I see them as being more goofy rather than dangerous. Would love to have one but not sure I'd be able to match its high level of energy.

There is a saying that goes "It's not a dog, it's a Bull Terrier." I absolutely love the breed, and we're on our third "bully." We call her "pretzel dog" because she'll sleep in these weird, twisted up positions. They are all so goofy and affectionate.

This is a wonderful breed, and misunderstood. I’ve never met one that wasn’t good. My dog had one as her boyfriend, Floyd, until his family moved. We all still miss him still.

My dog (she is a Mix Looping like a big Shorthair collie) has a Bullterrier dentist. Every time they Meeting, she lays down on her back and He visits her teeth and ears. They love each other. 💞

That "dog trancing" under fabric is a scientific thing. It's also called “hypokinetic gait." , Incredibly slow pacing characterized by soft, deliberate footfalls. This slo-mo walk seems to be stimulated by the dog passing under a plant or fabric hanging at head- or back height. The dogs enjoy the tactile stimulation.

A lot of Bullies do the "slow walk". Ours used to take about five whole minutes to make a circuit of the christmas tree... = ) Never seen any other kind of dog do it.

We got our first bull terrier in 1977. Bull Terrier in pure white, about 9-12 weeks old. His name was "Miss Piggy", we saw each other and then it was my dog. When I was there, Piggy never left my side. I still wear her milk fang on a chain around my neck today. Piggy has been gone since 1992, when she was just 14.5 years old she was allowed to end her long, beautiful life with dignity. She lives on in my thoughts. And I still think about “Miss Piggy”, my first big dog love, every day. Other bull terriers and English came. Staffordshire Bull Terriers, all of them were great...but no dog was like Miss Piggy. This love only existed once. Best regards and many beautiful moments with your Bulli, which nobody can take away from you

He is absolutely adorable & sooooo precious! Cherish every moment, they pass by so very fast. Before you know it your very best friend is gone & you are left with a massive hole in your heart. At least there is always another dog out there somewhere that will fill that black hole & make you whole again. Dogs are truly man's very best friend. They know how to love us no matter what, no matter how screwed up we are. I'm very disabled & my dog loves me anyway when no human will, so I'm happy with my dog's love. 🐾💕🐾

Loved your video. I have owned several bull terriers in my life and that were all rescued. You are so right. They are judged. It’s about the owner not the breed. Regular training, love and structure is absolutely necessary as it is for all Dogs. 🐾🇦🇺💗

We had two Bull Terrier with my family. The first one was here since before me and my sister were born and she was so calm! Even with two babies who (by accident) pulled on her tail, she was so kind and calm, she was the sweetest dog ever, I used to think all Bull Terrier were like that. Then years later we had the second one. She was much more like Tom, strangely enough also got into some kind of trance when walking under a plant and was weirdly obssessed with water. I love Bull Terrier, I really miss them.

I know a dog who does the same thing, when she "creeps" under a tree, or plant, with it lightly going over her body. Then when she's done, she "shakes" it off. We sing TLC's Creep to her when she does it. I always wonder if it's like a massage, like when you gently run your hands over someone's skin. That type of feeling. What an adorable dog!
