Donkeys Steve and Ronnie both came from terrible situations. When Julian and Rachael from Jacobs Ridge brought them in, everything changed. Julian realized he could talk to them and they would listen. He now tells them all about his day and what’s going on in his life, and they fight for his attention. They are happy and healthy donkeys living their best lives in their new sanctuary

I never miss the Sunday lives from Jacobs Ridge Sanctuary as well as the wonderful donkey conversation videos that Julian does. Julian and Rachael are wonderful, devoted people who have created a fantastic place for animals to live their best lives.

Steve and Ronnie, like most animals, are great LISTENERS. You can talk with them about anything. They will rarely interrupt. And you will never see them trying to catch a look at their phone or watch!

Cuddle Buddies...Thank you so very much for showing that Donkeys are sooo much more than "dumb" farm animals, which sadly, is what so many folks believe...They're really quite intelligent & very interesting animals, & when they're in good living conditions & feel "safe," they can easily become very playful, affectionate & bonded to their "people!" My Canadian grandparents had neighbors whose two donkeys loved to watch them through their big picture window early every morning while waiting for their daily treats & special attention...😊 Julian & Rachael must be such kind & loving people❣

It's just the best feeling when you can sit between two fluffy animals and feel the love pulsating backwards and forwards. I sit and talk to my rescued sheep and they do exactly the same 🥰😁.

Jacobs Ridge Sanctuary is a delightful channel too follow. I highly recommend it. Ronnie is my favorite donkey. The interaction between the owner and the animals is amazing and often hilarious. I fell in love with donkey’s through viewing the sanctuary.

I swear...the donkeys understand every word...some people are much bigger donkeys than the donkeys themselves...but these little donkeys here are really worthy of love. There are simply people who should not be trusted with animals at all. But then of course there is this man here who gives his animals the best possible life.

I follow Jacob’s Ridge and Julian for a few years now and it’s a pick me up when you are feeling low watching those guys in Spain. They are truly one of a kind sanctuary. If I could afford it I would go volunteer there 🙌🫶🏼🙏

Been watching Julian, Steve, & Ronnie at Jacob's Ridge since the beginning. He's a kindhearted man & his 2 donkeys have gentle loving souls. Watching him lecture & chastise them for naughty donkey shenanigans is always one of the highlights of my otherwise dreary life

Happy Donkeys😎 I have watched a lot of videos on donkeys and they are a hoot. Their personalities are adorable. I have a client here in Texas who has 3 of them on her ranch and I asked her if they are as fun and silly as they seem in the videos I have watched. She told me they are the best animals on her ranch.🤠
