I agree with Flex on the hold dat to the 2 gooners from that preview show. They were asked which Utd player they feared the most and both said no one after the Utd fans said who they feared on Arsenal... I'm a gooner, but Utd played this game exactly as they should. Well done. We played well but have things to improve on tactically. Experience is what is needed. Some gooners need some hubris.

Flex is a fair guy. He knows United are only just starting on their rebuild but he gave Arsenal the credit that we deserve . We played mostly very well but they defended solidly and are still clinical on the counter. I’m hurting but I’ll give him respect for the balanced assessment.

This interview is fair enough. It was a realistic and accurate reflection on the game. I agree, we showed the same naivety we always seem to show when we play United 🙄 really disappointing! We played so well for at least 70% of the game.

Saying top of the league now is on the same level as when Arsenal are on top by alphabetical order before the season has even started. It’s 5/6 games in no one care where anyone is in the table enough to start thinking about being title contenders. Come December if Arsenal are on top or challenging closet behind top then it could be said. And traditionally as long as I’ve known Arsenal of the last decade it’s normally always half a season good and half bad so you think fans would know better by now than to get carried away. But as a rival fan I can’t lie and not say you are looking the best I’ve seen since Wenger was in charge. At the very least I think Arteta will be like poch was for spurs and Wenger in his later years make Arsenal a regular top 4 team which is pretty good considering the Liverpool and City team that’s around atm. Few seasons in top and champions league, attract some top class players and who knows where Liverpool and city will be in 3-4 years when Arsenal may get their chance

Disappointing result but we have to take the positives that we played well for large parts of the game. Had we been more clinical it might have been a different result. We always seem to struggle at Old Trafford but if we knew at the start of the season that we'd be top with 15 points from 18 I think most of us would be happy with that. The most important thing now is how we respond in the next few games.

As an arsenal fan, I really like Flex, always gives a fair analysis of the games, and pays respect when it's due. I literally commented on the vid of him with stricto and lee saying they're way too overconfident, and I hope it doesn't backfire. Those 2 acting like that just leaves arsenal open for banter. UTD will probably struggle against smaller teams and this where Arsenal should beat them to top 4. Both will struggle away from home against big teams but UTD are better against top 6 at home. I could see them getting a result against City this year.
