United don’t have a new ceo, a new sporting director or a new head of recruitment yet. So far only one of those has a start date which is July. Why would they rush the decision of replacing ten Hag when the people being hired to make those decisions haven’t even had their first day at work yet? Makes more sense to keep ten Hag for one more season and get all the Backroom hires working in their new positions for a few months before making a sensible long term appointment.
