Man with Infant in Car Cuts Off and Brake Checks Fire Truck in Lexington Park, Maryland

Trooper First Class Joseph Rutkoski, from the Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack, ticketed Christopher Tyler, 30, of Lexington Park, for the following:
driving a motor vehicle without required license and authorization
driving a motor vehicle on a highway or public use property on a suspended out-of-state license
negligent driving a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner and endangering property, life, and person
changing lanes when unsafe
failure to use a turn signal prior to a turn
stopping a vehicle in an intersection
In November of 2018, Tyler was cited in St. Mary’s County for driving a motor vehicle on a highway or public use property on a suspended out-of-state license.

UPDATE: As of 9/28/2020 CHRISTOPHER JOHN TYLER has failed to appear in court for charges related to this incident and has active arrest warrants

Sadly the child lost in the parent lottery. I wish this small child the best. Being raised by someone like this is a massive setback.

He was so worried about the imagined speed of the firetruck that he decided to risk the life of his infant to brake check a 45,000 lb truck.

So, my experience has taught me that some people are mad at the system for their station in life. And since we represent the system they take their anger out on us. Unfortunately as long they claim they're a victim they will impede their own progress.

Charged with Reckless driving, child endangerment, delaying or interfering response of emergency services. And of course, unsafe lane change without use of indicator

I see this everyday...I drive a semi truck. We are big, slow, and can't help being in people's way sometimes. We are just working.....

This makes a person clearly realize that there are people driving in cars that are looking for trouble. It is best just to drive on and do your best to ignore them. This incident is impossible to figure, IMO.

That's what you do when it's already illegal for you to be driving in the first place, draw attention to yourself from the fire department who will call the police. Way to go cuh!
