strategic slow leveler gang rise up

For levelling, stopping off at the Spiritual Aid minion node out the left of the tree represents a massive early damage increase and one of the nodes gives life regen. It's like a staple thing in RF levelling and allows you to source extra damage from minion gear early, which can be a MUCH bigger deal than you might think.

"Strategic slow leveler" is gonna be my go-to explanation from now on.

Following your channel since a couple or so league. That build of yours is since then winkin at me, tried a practice lvlin run before 3.20 but couldn't handle the campaign part. Will give it another go with all your insights and this time is the time. Thanks.

Also as a tip, shortly after Gravicious you'll kill Piety and gain access to your lightning damage to spells craft. That is quite a big bump early.

For leveling, I suggest to roll with holy flame totem, flame wall and rolling magma until lvl 30. Then swap into Armageddon brand when you have 4 additional brands wheel at the top of the tree. Use brand recall alongside and you are set all the way to maps

@13:10 - Not sure if you said this and I missed it, but before killing Act 10 Kitava, do the 3rd Labyrinth (Merciless Lab), so you can do it before getting the -30% resist penalty from Act Kitava. Most people know this, but figure I’ll mention just in case someone doesn’t.

Love that you made a guide for this! I was just trying leveling it today. Gotta say that your arcane surge strat (start with hierophant arcane surge + left arcane surge nodes) sounds pretty good, maybe I end up doing the same. Dunno if this helps, but what I did was Flamewall + Rolling magma into Armagedon brand + Cremation while "mana stacking", so already using Arcane cloak in left click for lazyness. It took me 5h to reach maps, it was pretty good. Instead of going through the side I just went through damage and elemental damage of the starting points and rushed EO and witch's first mana cluster for Guard skill recover 10% mana over 1s. After that I went for Runebinder and Runesmith + brand range mastery right at lvl 28. Next inline was Arcanist's Dominion and Prodigal Perfection.

Another possibility for leveling is just throwing in righteous fire since the life + recovery masteries make it extremely easy to sustain even from lvl 12

I was able to start CWC Arc at the end of A4 and just went from there. Run a standard RF leveling setup with CWC for a while to help damage till i got most of the tree and starting gear on and it really helped with the respec being minimal.

i've been using voltaxic burst for harder maps, the % life damage really helps the early stages of the build and otherwise it feels like shock nova.

nice, I've being waiting to see your approach in the leveling, just one little question, do you stick with maps after kitava or you just go to delve as soon as possible?

Followed this levelling method, but used creeping frost instead, with volley, it clears quite well. I didn't even have to allocate my last 8 passives points before killing kitava.

keep in mind, the +1 chain on the mastery isnt in 3.21 anymore. same as lightning is lucky.

Thanks for posting this, glad the build is still viable. Is the only thing it's losing in 3.21 just the ES Mastery "Gain 3% of Maximum Mana as extra ES"?

Thanks for the build! Had a question about recovery? Is it mostly due to having a giant arcane cloak letting ES get going and having all the mana regen as pseudo recovery? with that in mind when delving are you mostly going for the end objective or are you doing a lot of fractured walls as well? Do u delve as soon as you have Mjolnir and shaper's touch? and overall what are your farming strategies for the league start version of this build? I was looking at week 3 of your poe ninja and u already had a pretty insane itemization. Did u obtain all this currency by only delving? or did u do other stuff?

How do you think these crucible skills will effect the build? Manabond: Freeze enemies as if doing % more damage, % of lightning damage convered to cold Arc: Gain additional cold damage equal to % of mana cost

Love the guide! What does the item progression before mjolnir etc look like? During the acts? You only go through the passive tree but not gearing?

Question on how you fund your progression. What content do you find this build does well at for affording your progression? I know at some point you do a lot of delving and late game you can smash bosses but I'm guessing on the first few days or even first week you are likely doing other content. I generally farm blight map farming or boss rush the first 1-2 weeks but I generally do totem builds as league start. I more or less copied your day 3 level of gear in the middle of last league on a level 92 I respected and didn't do a ton of testing because I was struggling with sanctum and my damage. Looks like it will be a lot better at next leagues mechanic with all the aoe and tankyness.

Fire mastery that gives regen is extremely strong leveling.

Dude i have a suggestion for your tree: try to swap lethal pride and healty mind. Drop three HP nodes where helathy mind was and take two HP nodes near Iron WIll. And take the Iron will too. Totally it gives you -3% mana and ES but +2.5kk damage

Since the build has Ivory tower, is it doable to go low life before coruscating elixir? and would that be worthwhile? Also, how are coruscating elixer flask charges sustained? just kills? Build looks great and hoping to league start it this league, thanks!

I’m going to try Manabond this league. I’m a long time Storm Brand Inquisitor enjoyer. I think that’ll be a great (and safe) starter option until you’re ready to transition to Hiero. Storm Brand just really feels good to play on inquisitor with how easy it is to crit cap in basic gear, ignoring resistances and comfy hybrid recovery.

For leveling just get a totem explode for 200/300% life set up and rolling the game. Requires 0 points in the tree to make it strong.

i'm a big fan of the Mjolner item my old build was the "THOR'S RAINBOWNUKE BUILD" but back in the old days the build got nerf and i quit playing.

Didn't happen to see what you picked for Uber Lab. Would Sanctum of Thought's 50% mana cost reduction harm the DPS output for the build? Or would we go Illuminated Virtue (Arcane Surge 4 pointer) ?

So I have been testing leveling this, and it was a pile of garbage experience until I changed up the tree, I'm finishing a personal PoB for leveling. It levels with manabond mid way/after act 3 and spell totem arc. Minimal regrets and scales mana early. Should also keep you on pace to get the attributes wheel in time for mjölnir and pain attunement for ivory tower. Will post it as a comment after I finish it up today.

Hi Conner, i have noticed you recommend shapers touch + mjolner before swapping to Manabond. With only these uniques you cannot go LL yet though (Chaos dmg). Do you usually run a non LL version first till you get ivory tower or do you wait for Shapers Touch + Mjolner + Ivory Tower to go LL instantly?

Thanks for this build i was trying out an older one at the moment .... but this kills rares and trash mob a bit faster it seems :) What i DONT want or NEED is a prolonged fight against some rare monster .... at level 79 :) Please come with updates for this build :) I still need to make my body armor 6 linked and in the right color and need those stampede boots but build still works okay besides that :)

I league start with this build, i have the budget setup (5 link ivory, indigon, prism guardian, triple cluster, low split personality) 9k es 10k mana. Suvivability and mapping is ok but i have a dps problem for pinnacle and delve bossing (300depth actually). What invest u recommend for upgrade this build in order? I have 10div but i dont know if its better to buy anomalous manaleech, good watcher eye, corrupted shaper touch or farming more and focus for squire first. Im lost 😢😢 fun build i like the gameplay but looks too expensive for me

Honestly, i have not seen this build before but it immediately intrigued me playing it next league. Maybe even as a starter 🙂. Am i right in thinking that this build is also satisfying for regular mapping / bossing without any focus or intensive delve?

I am guessing you have changed your build? Hitting lvl 90, I am missing indigon so a lot of dps on the table still. But I have Mjolner, Ivory, PrismGuardian, 6kmana 8kes. 5link chest. And I got to say, my lvl 80 arcanist brand with 5 nodes into the extra brand cluster was doing more dmg and clearing faster than after the swap. Did something change drastically? I cant even lvl past 90, as I rip due to very low single target dps.

Great build but I took a shortcut and leveled as a guardian and let the sentinel carry me to T16's. Spent less regret orbs respecing from guardian to hiero lol. Just took the path of your endgame tree because the sent carries so hard.

Incredible, I'm a degenerate autistic delver and i only delve every single league, i dont even complete my watchstones because i hate mapping, I've played RF, champ LS, and poison spark, as I enjoy extreme tank and being able to actually kill Aul's past 800 with disgusting mods, this looks just right for me, thank you for this please make more videos about this build

is it possible to run this build without having to spam flask/depend on flask?

I like so much this build (I generally like all mana builds). For me build have only 2 downsides. But they comes from someone who play this game since 2013 and also sometimes play on std so... just my personal preferences. 1) half of the gear are unique parts = mean build can be very easy nerfed by GGG anytime [it's not like with the rare gear where when you craft something good it will stand forever on your standard stash] 2) maybe im wrong but I think you need trading a lot with this build which is awful for people like me who prefer just alch&go&play Also I still didn't read all about 3.21 and I wonder it is possible to level some passive tree on normal Gavel and chance orb him to hit Mjolner with that passive skill tree. Same thing with Elegant Round Shield for The Squire...
