Yet another professional video presentation. I feel compelled to relay my sincere thanks for all of your informative presentations. I have forwarded your videos to others here in the UK that have Prostate cancer and without exception, the comments are always a definitive “Excellent” I personally was diagnosed last week with a Gleason score of 3 + 4 and the oncology department wanted to start treatment immediately. I have, at this juncture, opted for Active Surveillance which is also the view of a British Professor in London Mark Emberton, his advice is often on parallel with Professor Scholz. As you appreciate, we have a totally different system here with the NHS and certainly in London and other major cities, we have a sensible approach to treating Prostate Cancer effectively. Thank you Alex for your assiduous work on this platform My best regards to you all.

I had recurrence with spread to 20 + lesions in bones , 2 lung spots , ca in sternum and diaphragm. The ca got into my heart surgery wounds ( bypass 6 months prior !) . I received chemotherapy doxetaxil 5 rounds, firmagon monthly 6 months then 6 monthly adt injections . Also apalutamide daily (4 tablets daily) . After 14 months now cancer almost undetectable, psa zero . My main problems are fatigue, explosive bowel issues , tachycardia . All are now under control mostly. I’m 70 years of age . Retired dentist. I’m so grateful for all the pcri information. It gave me hope when I thought I was finished. Ps I’ve lost a lot of muscle strength but I’m fighting back . Cheers

@@koof1776 thank you so much for taking the time to reply. It’s so helpful and kind. I hope the same for you and your dad. On the current chemo, my dad is back to doing yard work. And yes, lots of hanging out and laughing. But some crabbiness too, I think from the steroid. My mom is in very late stage dementia and he’s showing impatience now fairly often. Is your family coping? My mom and dad invested so much into long term care insurance but he refuses to let anyone in the house. So us three sisters have shifts with them every day. Have you needed to have in-home care for your dad?
