I dought it mate as it is actualy the 6th largest City of the UK, Liverpool and Bristol are bigger than the City of Manchester in population size and that is what makes the second City its population size and the population size of the City of Manchester is only 580,000 citizens and the reason the City of Birmingham is the second largest City and 2nd City and was proclaimed as such on BBC news to do with the election is the fact the population of the City of Birmingham is 1.5 million Citizens so no the City of Manchester is no way becoming the second City it is as I said officialy the 6th largest City in the UK

@@michaelriordan8265 Oh dear, what the heck has the third biggest Airport got to do with anything Mate, Birmingham has the busiest Station outside of London, Birmingham New Street Station,and will have the newest and biggest terminal station when Birmingham Curzon Street Station opens on HS2, Birmingham is the HQ of Diechure Bank, the UK arm of HSBC, it is the HQ of National Express the largest Bus Company in the World not only operating Buses and Coaches in the UK, but also the Rupublic of Ireland, Spain, Marroco, Malta, Gozo France, Portugal, Germany, and the USA plus Train services in Germany, HQ of Avanti West Coast Trains, HS2 Limited, X Country Trains and West Midland Trains/ London Northwestern Trains, it is the HQ of Cadbury/Mondolaze International, HQ of the Sea Life Centres and now the City with the highest growth now and after the 2022 Commonwealth Games is set to host in 2026 the European Atheletics Championship games never held out side the EU before and the UK's largest and only authentic German Xmas Market and this does not make a second City, this is through area and population size, the City of Birmingham is 150 miles square in area and has a population of 1.5 million citizens where as the City of Manchester is only 58 sq miles in area and a population of 580,000 citizens and Fotball is not the be all and end all of every thing and on about TV and Film, the BBC is building a new large TV Studio in Digbeth Birmingham and the producer of Peaky Blinders is building again in Digbeth a new Film Studio to produce films in Birmingham that is why Birmingham is the Second City and Second Largest City and was proclaimed as such the other day on BBC News
