Came across your workhouse video so subscribed...ironic ive just come back from Greece where i was chatting about old iconic Manchester pubs especially the Pevril....been in Shakespeare many many times i didnt know about its Chester origins...lived on Salford for a few years so drank in those...great video...i look forward to watching your others about this wonderful city

Very interesting, thanks for spending the time to create this, I've been in all these pubs except the Ring of Bells. Has the story of the girl been independently verified? I mean checking news from time as I'm sure it would have been reported in the newspapers from the time.
