Never mind beating Chelsea (who until then had gone 39 games unbeaten), even scoring against them was an immense feat. I remember the intro before the game, it had a wave of a blue pulsing out of London and Old Trafford cracking up and breaking a apart. This goal and the win was phenomenal.

Still remember this game. The second half was one of the longest 45 minutes I ever had to wait for.

What a match. This was my first match I was at live. Absolutely amazing atmosphere after the final whistle. Chelsea was a force this year , almost unstoppable. Utd winning this bragging rights. Brilliant

That was what Chelsea have been doing to opponents throughout their dominance under Mourinho. Fergie beat Jose at his own game, scoring then park his own bus but threaten on counters to give the “Special One” a taste of his own medicine. Jose is a specialist is parking buses but Fergie’s buses are more effective than his.

This was on 6th November 2005, the last match before Leny Yoro, United's new centre back, was born.

In fact I think this was the wind that kick started everything if it wasn't for this when we would have never worn the Champions League in 2008
