EDIT (27.10.2021) - I've just come back from Deepdale after watching Preston vs Liverpool ... even PNE played better than us. I mean, they ONLY lost 2-0. This 5 nil does not hurt like the 4-1 I'm 2009. Back then we were in a title fight. So It meant more. Plus we Unired were 7 points ahead and we won. 10 pts with 2 months to go. We would have won. But we lost. Then lost the second game. And nearly lost the third game.in a row to villa. But Sir Alex saves us with his sub. This loss don't hurt the same way 4-1 did.

@@UltimateBucketList Yes unfortunately we've been awful this season so far. Our defense need to get better. We need a good little run and lay well to get some confidence and go from there. I think Conte can be really good maker for us. Ole I'm sorry. We really like him. But his tactics are not good. He has to go. As soon as another emanate wants the job. U, N, I,T, E, D. i love the matchday videos. As much as I love the stadium tours, I'd love to see more of these vids. And I know it's expensive and far, but it would be really cool to see a fenway park matchday vlog or the rogers centre hotel since you've said your a jays fan. Keep up the great content!

I’m going to Old Trafford to watch Spurs game, with my GF who is a MU season ticket holder, I support Spurs…..going to have to wear gaffer tape!!! so will give you a waive form the SAF stand. Liverpool fan here , I already saw the match when it happened along with match reaction and the Ole’S at the wheel chant. The video was great btw along with the tickets advice I went to the match against watford from a third party website and boy it was expensive £10 more than the hospitality base price (in vid). In my time following liverpool this game was the 4th time we won and in every one we won by scoring at least 3 goals (2009 onwards) It’s crazy how the united team has been playing surely the presence of CR7 makes the players want to play better, but those players didn’t turn up for the biggest game in English top flight history. At 0-3 I was able to breathe results like this and the 2-4 last season are what fans dream of no matter who you support

Came from Canada for United vs Totten for the Ronaldo Hat-Trick, easily best game of my life and 3rd time at Old Trafford, then unfortunately went to the CL game 3 days later where we lost 1-0 to Atletico - great video by the way! I will be back for united vs liverpool on Aug 20th this new season, the biggest game and I am so excited to be able to see it in person!

Ah, that's amazing bro, I admire your dedication to travelling across the pond to watch United! I agree that the Tottenham game was pretty awesome, but the Atletico game very frustrating by comparison. Should have won against those idiots. I'll be sat in my usual seat (S21, Row KK, Seat 93) next to the United dugout for the Liverpool game. I'll probably be wearing a brightly coloured goalkeeper shirt, so keep an eye out for me!

One day you will come here! Yes, sometimes they hold academy and women's matches here, but it's not free. Tickets are usually £6 but it's excellent value for money. I went to the United Women vs Everton Women last week, and I was impressed with the women's standard of football ... they play better than the men!

In terms of the ticket: for the price, I'm generally happy with it. The benefits are: - It works out about £44 per ticket, the face value of my seat on general sale is £60 - so that's a saving of £16 per game. - South Stand lower gives you a great view of the stadium and the action - if I sat two rows higher, that's an additional £150 a year. - It guarantees you a ticket to see all 19 home games and you get preference to apply for away tickets. - You get 10% off at the Megastore (which is 10% more expensive than any other retail store, so in effect no difference) and a discount Stadium Tour, but you'll barely use it. The downsides are: - Home Cup games are mandatory, so they charge your account for the ticket whether you like it or not. They actually sanction you if you choose to opt out (i.e. they ban you from games and charge you for them). - If you can't go to the game, you have to transfer it (officially through their website) to another United member. This also means you can't sell the ticket in any capacity. If you get caught selling your ticket, they revoke your season ticket, keep the money and ban you from Old Trafford for three years. I understand why they do that (to combat ticket touts), but that's harsh for the average joe. - If they had a "ticket buy-back" scheme like Manchester City, i.e. if you can't go - you can sell your ticket back to the club and then they re-sell it. That would be much better. Hope that helps?

@@UltimateBucketList have you ever sat in a obstructive view seat. Few years ago i signed up for a 400 pounds season tucket but cancelled club kicjed upp a fuss. Sent it out after refunding me and when i rung up wanted me to pay to post it back for being honest . Said no free post enverlope sent. I believe the quadrants block the corner flag for some seats so good value if its just corner flag .

It wasn't a bad deal actually. I don't know the final amount, but it works out about £44 per game - which is a significant discount to the £65 that seat costs for general sale. If I chose to sit just two rows higher, that jumps up to £50 per game, so I think I got the best value ticket in the South Stand without compromising the view.

@@marcuslin1441 At the beginning of the season, you pay a lump sum for the 19 league home games (£44 x 19 = £836). But if United have home cup competitions, such as FA Cup or Europa League, they charge you on a per game basis as well. So depending on how well United do in all competitions dictates how much you'll pay for your 'season ticket'.

@@marcuslin1441 That's correct yes. The 'season ticket' is basically your right to sit in your seat for the 19 league home games. Cup games are extra, and if you choose to go to away games, that's extra too.

Bro, you've chosen the toughest ticket in the season to get! This is the biggest game of the season, and standard tickets were sold out weeks ago. I strongly advise that you secure a ticket first before coming to Manchester ... (unless you want to see the city and the sights). As for cheap tickets, this is why it's important to get membership and apply the second it's available. Websites for ticket transfer - most of them are scammers, there's no guarantee that the ticket is real or fake. You only know when you get to the turnstile. The only other way to get cheap tickets is go to at the ticket office on gameday and see if anyone has given up their tickets for sale, but it's rare that you'll get one for this match. In short: unless you know someone who is willing to sell you their ticket, it's unlikely you'll get one against Liverpool. Against any other team, you've got a good chance.

@@MrAnasghwas If you're hell bent on going - go on Facebook and type in "Manchester United Football Club Tickets" - there's a closed group, but they might sell you a ticket - ask for it to be transferred to your Man United account (because then it's 100% genuine). If they only sell you a 'paper ticket', walk away. There are also ticket touts hanging around outside the stadium, on Sir Matt Busby Way. They'll sell you a ticket, but it's going to be mega-expensive for a cheap seat. Hope that helps?

I have a question - I will be at United's game against Arsenal and this will be my first ever United match at Old Trafford. How do i enter the stadium? is my digital membership enough to get through the turnstiles? Thanks!

You'll be sent a ticket either through e-mail or through your app. Fire up the ticket on your app or phone (or print it) and show it into the turnstile after your security check. Once the light goes green, walk through and you're in. If you haven't been sent your ticket, contact the ticket office immediately.

Hi David, thanks very much! To answer your question: unlike North American sports where fans intermingle with each other, the supporters of the away team are ALWAYS sectioned off in a small corner of the stadium. They're prevented from mixing with home fans for obvious reasons, and the away tickets are only sold by the away team, so it's rare that you get them. If you're sat in any other part of the stadium, everyone will assume you are a home supporter and the ticket office / team website will assume that also. If you are a road team supporter and can only get tickets in the home sections - act like you're a local!

It's tough to see United virtually give up midway through the first half, but they did just that. Liverpool weren't even trying and they still ran out 5-0 winners. The gulf between the clubs is obvious.

Officially you're not supposed to, but if you keep it in your hand along with your phone when you're security checked, they won't even look at it. I've snuck mine in many times.

The new NFC ticketing system at Anfield has made ticket touts obsolete. Tickets are tied to your mobile phone and you need photo ID

That's what it's supposed to do, but there's always ways around it. Manchester City also do the same and United do the same without the NFC requirement. Still get ticket touts that manage to sell them.

@@martinquirk7468 but you're completely wrong. It's not about 'saving face', you are objectively incorrect! If the ticket doesn't work on your phone, they send you a PDF version. I know, because I have one. You scan it at the turnstiles and whilst they say you need a photo ID, nobody has checked me at all this season. Therefore ticket touts can simply give you the PDF ticket modified with your name on it and this circumvents the NFC requirement. Both at City and at United. Anfield will be exactly the same because not everybody has smartphones. Therefore it is not 'exactly how you described', and you are wrong. 100% wrong.

Well, I've also been to some good games. United 5-1 vs Leeds and City 5-0 Arsenal. - so it evens itself out. I even went to PNE vs Liverpool last night, that was a decent showing. I didn't bother with the NFL in London this year ... the matchups were very uninspiring.

@@fzby6296 I think there are better candidates out there for the job should that happen. Not sure if they'd actually do any good. Unless they're a clone of Pep Guardiola, they won't do much better with that team in their current configuration. As for a City or a Liverpool game in a United shirt, I've done that before plenty of times and lots of people do it too. It's called 'being an away fan'.

No, the transfer wasn't made directly. The last man to swap one club for the other was Phil Chisnall in 1964. Since then, only a handful of players have ever played for both clubs (Michael Owen, Paul Ince, Peter Beardsley) but the transfer wasn't direct between the clubs, as they refuse to deal with each other.
