As a Liverpool fan, this is what Man City lack last season after Kompany left and also what Liverpool missing this season: leadership in the back. I have to admit he is giving the same vibe as Kompany had: inteligent and vocal. Best transfer of the season so far.

@@desporto6559 yes he was, but the impact made by dias on his first season is on a different level imo. And to be fair, there was Leroy sane too. All were influential for our back to back title. But dias has impressed me the most because he made our defence the best ever city ever had.

What a guy, Ruben should definitely be our Captain next season, his leadership and communication skills are unrivalled in our team, everyone probably thinks it should be KDB, but he’s not a natural leader, Ruben is and he’s a fantastic organiser too, I can’t wait for the fans to be back at the stadium program next season. He’s definitely our best signing in the last 3 years.

From the first game he played for city Ruben was comfortable on the ball and someone who was not fazed by the premier league, for such a young man he has great maturity and leadership skills. He has great communication skills also and a future captain and leader. Fantastic player

@The Chosen One it's your opinion which is fine. But I think VVD helped a lot in attack too last season. There were situations in which Liverpool were heading for a draw and VVD chipped in with towering headers from set pieces which turned out to be either assists or goals.. If Dias can chip in with a few of those, he will undoubtedly be number one in EPL..
