The first goal of Gundogan's career is still my favorite. De Bruyne's pass is nothing less than sublime.

City fan since a boy here, Gundogan has been one of my favorite's since his Dortmund days, really stood out in the final they lost against Bayern. I have always thought him to be a special player. I was overjoyed when we signed him and at a steal of a price as well. I was gutted when he got injured his first season, but Nasri was still around. When he plays well, the team just ticks and we rarely lose, I think we are really underestimating his impact, the goals he scores at important moments (he is a big game player), when there is no space and our strikers cannot find goals. His intelligence in midfield, never really loses the ball, quick passes, can play the final ball and always initiates phases of attacks while making the run into the box. I will miss him and thanks for all he did. My favorite player in this City era, I'm just happy he got to leave as the treble winning captain, and it speaks volumes that the dressing room elected him as captain. More strength to you Gundo, and best of luck.
