The mission of Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club is defined in the organization’s charter as:
The Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club is an international STAR WARS™ costuming organization dedicated to celebrating the STAR WARS™ universe through the creation, display, and wearing of quality character costumes that represent the Mandalorian characters and culture from the STAR WARS™ sagas.
The MMCC unites individuals with a common love for STAR WARS™ and the Mandalorian culture/characters while encouraging self-improvement, personal growth, family involvement, and fellowship with peers.
The MMCC promotes interest in STAR WARS™ and facilitates the use of these costumes for STAR WARS™-related events as well as contributing to the local community through costumed charity and volunteer work.
MMCC is unique as it encourages is membership to embrace creativity and individualism as opposed to costume organization based on visual accuracy from the STAR WARS™ films and canon reference material. The MMCC is an inclusive and friendly club, following the Mandalorian way of “Clans” or family units and a clans’ ability to adopt anyone who wishes to be a Mandalorian.
Recognized by Lucasfilm LTD.; Mandalorian Mercs Costuming Club set the standards of Mandalorian costuming based on canon film (Boba and Jango Fett), Expanded Universe, “Legends”, action figure, and video/board game references. Our CRLs (Costume Requirement List) allow official members to be highly creative with their Mandalorian costumes, even though there is a minimum visual and quality standard that must be reached; every Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club member is constantly encouraged to improve their costume to the highest standards.
The Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club promotes the love of STAR WARS™, creation of quality costumes, and spirit of volunteerism.

Members of Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club create and wear costumes of “Mandalorian Armor”, an iconic symbol of the Mandalorian warrior culture from the StarWars™ Universe. The history of Mandalorian armor spans over 8,000 years in the Star Wars™ canon and “Legends” timelines, costumes you’ll find in the Mandalorian Mercs are created based on references found in these timelines. Our costumes strive to represent Mandalorian characters in the highest caliber of quality and realism while also allowing a great deal of creativity and individualism. It’s very uncommon that two Mandalorian Mercs member’s costumes look identical, but they all share the same traditional characteristics of Mandalorian armor/culture.
What are Mandalorians?
Mandalorians are the most notable warrior culture within the Star Wars™ universe. Sometimes famous, many times infamous, their allegiance is often times acquired by the highest bidder. Mandalorians can be found in almost every combat-oriented job in the Star Wars™ universe: Bounty Hunters, Mercenaries, and Bodyguards are but a few of the professions Mandalorians are famous for. Mandalorians are known for their high technology, traditional armor style, and ruthlessness in battle. Mandalorians value family above all else, and Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club has built on that value by giving back to local communities through charity and volunteer work. Do you have an event or convention that you’d like to have Mandalorians guard over? Do you have a charity event that needs a Star Wars™ touch?
The Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club is a non-profit costuming organization that loves to work with the community for events and charities. We have over 1400 members throughout the United States, Canada, UK, and other countries worldwide.
We ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible so that we can plan for the event by contacting the members in your area. As a general rule, 2-3 weeks ahead works best. Someone will get in touch with you to advise if we are able to cover the event and how many Mandalorians will be arriving.
