Really appreciated how your effort to making the beautiful of Ritz Carlton Mandapa. Attention to details of each corners from the main entrance, lobby area (completes with the beautiful shrines & temples around), the villas and it’s all reflected to the Hindu Balinese philosophy. Plus with beautiful music in the background that you choose...it’s absolutely WOW❤️👍👍. I am Balinese and so proud with my culture...thanks for sharing this to the worlds🙏.

Bali is wonderful. unlike other tourist destination, you don’t have to spend so much because it really is affordable. The people are also hospitable and warm. Their culture is so rich and vibrant. Ive been there once, and i hope to come back soon.

I don't really comment on videos on KZfaq, but I have to say something. The videos you make are just amazing, the camera work is excellent. The music you choose for your videos is very good too. It fits nicely and is a great background. I really enjoy watching your videos, they are the best content on KZfaq. I would not have thought of THE RITZ CARLTON in such a place as this, because the simplicity of the organic Zen design is serene, beautiful and your senses are heightened with it's calming natural surroundings. Love this, I really appreciate the cultural background info. Thank you :-)

OMG the ultimate natural resort I've ever seen

Amazing video and really does the resort justice. Stayed in October 16 and going back again next week as we loved it so much. Hell of a trek from Scotland but we love coming back to Bali. Definitely has the edge over the four seasons due the level of service which was out of this world.

I went water rafting along Ayung River just earlier this year, I looked up at these grandiose hotels along the river and wondered how it was like inside. Mandapa being one of them. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to relieve memories from that day and allowing me the different view of this beautiful river. One day, I'll stay at this gorgeous place but till then, it'll remain as a to-do list.

Hi doc. I literally had tears rolling down my eyes at the end of the clip. It made me so very nostalgic . I was in Ubud Bali in the summer of 2017. But now I am cooped up in the house. Your videos take me on a virtual tour of the world. Had seen the Tagallalang rice fields, the Blanco museum, and the elephant safari park in Ubud. The rice fields were balm to the eyes. Mandapa sits like a jewel in the emerald green surroundings. The resort has so many Hindu trappings. The suite you occupied was luxury redefined. The view of the rafters bumping along the Ayung river can be therapeutic. Greenery till the eyes take you is another striking feature of this property. Indeed a great substitute for your quintessential beaches. The 'ijuk' roofs look so glossy and rustic. Reminds me of traditional homes on the coastal belt of Karnataka. Thank you doc for posting this stupendous video.

Stayed twice during summer 2017 and early 2018. Resort is really good, service is really nice, very private and secluded .

Ritz Carlton and Bali are so good together. The one in Nusa Dua is also amazing. It has lots of daily activities for the guest.

Kudos for making the effort to film mainly when no one is around. With me, I tend to be embarrassed when filming in public areas with all the folks staring at me. Especially in the Middle East!

Just stumbled across this video. Unbelievably, we are staying right now in the featured villa ! If anyone is watching this and considering a visit, just do it! IMHO Mandapa is the finest hotel anywhere in the world. Beautiful and serene with unrivalled service. A life affirming privilege.

My Favorite food is Nasi goreng , And Nasi goreng best taste in The world only in Mandapa - Ubud , and the Menu serve at Sawah Restaurant on Lunch Time . I can't stay there because expensive , but lucky can enjoying the good food there ..

I know I said that I felt claustrophobic in the Bali jungle last week, but Mandapa is simply stunning. It rises above the rain forest, ancient and modern at the same time. I love seeing the rain--no rain in SF Bay Area for about 7 months, although we had 1/8 inch last week. Wherever Dr LTE goes, eggs bennie will follow. I must investigate the meaning of the sacred black and white checkerboard cloth. Bali is an exotic and wonderful place. Your villa was one of the best I've seen in your videos.

Dès qu'on voit l'entrée et avec l'aperçu, on sait que tout va être beau et magique. Les premières images sont très émouvantes. On a vraiment l'impression d'être dans un sanctuaire. Quand on commence à s'aventurer en dehors du hall d'accueil vers la villa, ça devient mysterieux, fantastique ( 12.03 ) 15.49 : Sacrée belle ambiance ! 16.33 salle de bain très agréable aussi 20.13 C'est vraiment merveilleux Très émouvant de voir ce temple. On se dit que si on allait là-bas, on aimerait y passer du temps. 32.17 Ce pic-nique a l'air très appétissant 38.14 Super belle image. Complètement magique. Les plats du dîner, ça a l'air assez extraordinaire; le buffet du petit déjeuner aussi.

I'm surprised you didn't rank the property higher than Amankila and Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay. I guess I'll have to return to Bali and check-out those resorts :)

As I am watching this video I notice that some of what is said about Ubud is not particularly true. Going back 30 years or more, Ubud and the surrounding area was a quieter place to be and especially quieter than the Kuta Beach area. In the last 10 years or so, it is not true though. It is a busy place and though there still are some quiet spots (and we have stayed in some), the area itself is not quiet and the roads are busy. This past year is of course the exception.

we stayed at one of the pool villas here... if there is a place to relax in this world... this is it. It is really a top luxury destination... and also if you stay there, do NOT go on tours as why waste money just to sleep in this place? We went for dinner a couple of times outside but for the most part just stayed on the beautiful grounds and in our own pool. If you want to tour, sleep in a cheaper place.
