if it has access to servers' side, it might give command to the client to download and install crap. if the client has capability and it probably has for updates and shit.

I wouldn't doubt that the Source engine is compromised, it makes sense since CS is full of cheaters as well, pretty much worse or on par with Apex. However, Valve probably has a better system for payment and financial information.

there was some guy going around streamers chats, like 30-300 viewer streamers who have pred ranked accounts, and warning them that EAC had a very exploitable bug or sumn back in october december; and that they could inject whatever into your pc and take over your account by simply being your friend in game and/or being in your lobby. he would try to prove he was being serious by botting thousands of followers to these streamers. but everyone i knew just laughed him off and took his follower botting as him just being a troll and buying bots to mess with them. also because he talked like a madman schizo edgelord when questioned saying real weird stuff. now i wonder if hes one of the people behind this whole stunt now.

Me and kinfolk were playing last night on PS5 and the dallas server was going fucking nuts. Every 5 seconds i could get a hardcore rubberband or I would just skip 10 feet ahead. The 3 icons in the top right corner were almost permanent on screen it would disappear for a second then stay for the duration of the game. Can anyone explain this? I have 2.5k hours in apex and yes things have been shitty before but never this shitty.
