Hell of an effort. I couldn’t even hold your wheel for a minute, but…the QOM record should go to the guy who paced you up the entire climb. KOM/QOM’s should be done solo. Anything else should have an * by it.

I was thinking they need an MQOM category. Using a male puller to compete in a female category... It's almost like being trans? :) hmmm can men use a motorcycle to pull? :) All the usual caveats... she would drop me... there's always a bit of shenanigans with strava segments... it's just strava... Probably beating people who did the same thing... It's fun to do regardless... :) An analogy could be tennis mixed doubles. It's mixed vs mixed not mixed vs non-mixed, which this was essentially.

it looks like your body position got more aero towards the end doing 10mph, compared to the beginning looking very upright at 20mph.

I’m not going to lie, my aero positioning (much like my descending) has never been my strong suit, but if there was ever a time to be aero it would be when I was getting dropped 😅

Great effort, with that said I'm a long time cyclist, 45 plus years and I've seen cyclist who has blow through stop signs like this who ends up getting splattered all over the pavement, this one of the reason why cyclist will get a bad reputation. I'm from Northern CALIFORNIA, SILICON Valley and while doing a down hill run HWY 9 going down into Saratoga, I was near the end of this crazy ride, earlier on I passed 3 motor cycle riders, splitting them down the center and then 3 cars all in one sweep, further on down the road, all of a sudden 2 cyclist blew a stop sign from my left side of which they were coming onto HWY 9, I was looking at a full on Broad side collision with one of the 2 riders, I managed the split the 2 while brushing the 2nd riders front wheel, we all were able to stay mounted as I was pulling away, one of the 2 started yelling my name, so I slowed down so they could catch up, they asked why was I riding like a mad man, then I said what in the hell are you thinking, blowing through that stop sign like that, his reply we were thinking we were good until you showed up.

Can’t do it by herself cause the old record was also done drafting …And the record before that too … and basically everyone on that leaderboard some of which have been done with 20+ people

I'm I the only one the sees this as Cheating ? Since there's no way you could of done this on your own... I know others do this too like Izabel King, Phil Gimon which is still not cool... maybe I'm just too old school...you may as well dope or motor pace and say you won it😂 but I guess people need validation any way they can get it.

Definitely shouldn’t be allowed. At a minimum it should be noted as an assisted effort. KOM/QOM’s should be done solo.

Seems like it's not cheating because they all do it. But I would like to see these QOM's and Kom's won one on one. Especially if you are going to put it on Camera/Video.

Biking is often in groups so it kind of just happens anyway, though I haven't as yet really done group rides myself. However, I think women using male assistance for a QOM stretches things a bit far. The man would be the winner, but they're not in the category so it just helps the woman beat other women. It would be a bit like a man drafting behind someone on a motorcycle to get a kom. It would be more fair if it were just other women in the group doing the pulling. Whether intentional or not, there are team efforts going on because cycling is also a team sport, but maybe it shouldn't be a mixed team helping in a restricted category. It's controversial in real races too. You can say that they're competing against other women doing the same thing, but that leaves out the women who don't being unable to be competitive in the women's category because of men... sound familiar? :) Entertaining video regardless. I appreciate why a team goal like this is fun and have been known to get my wife qom's on your run of the mill less competitive strava segments, though not intentionally.
