Sir is it important to with any decision made to where the plate will be placed to make sure no screws are drilled into the mandibular canal housing the IAN nerve?

How serious is my left parasymphysis and right angle mandibular fracture ? Sir I got attacked by three men and now I have titanium plate and screws, I posted a video about it actually is it normal for my face to be extremely swollen ? As soon as I had the op I was walking 20 minutes after then I was released after a few hours... is that timing standard procedure Thank you.
