I had the opportunity to see Mandissa years ago. She shared her testimony during the concert. I always felt her heart and spirit through her music, but her testimony showed me a much deeper love for Jesus. She was an amazing person and inspired so many people. When I heard she had Covid, I instantly believed the side effects of it were the cause of her death. I am a nurse and have known of several other fairly young people, who were otherwise healthy, pass after having Covid. There are many people who have struggled with depression for one reason or another. Depression does not equal self-harm. Mandissa had the joy of the Lord in her heart and Jesus conquers All. I know she is in His loving arms now. Her music and message will live on.

No one ever dies for if we believe in our lord JESUS we are alive in him.

I am SO thankful that Mandisa did NOT harm herself! I only went there in my mind, because she had talked openly about her struggles with depression in the past. So glad THAT wasn't the cause. ♥ She was awesome.♥

I’m so sorry for the loss of this sweet woman. She is definitely in heaven. We will know what health ailment took her life while in heaven but Covid definitely can weaken the body. ❤ I enjoyed her concert in Wilkes at the Faith Fest and have several of her albums that have blessed me greatly. Her song overcomer was an awesome song when it came out years ago and i remember rejoicing to it when i was fresh out of jail working at my new job trying to overcome alcoholism/porn and more and the Lord Delivered me. Glory to Jesus our Savior

This is getting dragged out in a really weird type of way. If the family is not comfortable sharing the cause, they should just say that. I watched the entire celebration and felt icky the whole time because everyone was going on and on about everything but the big ole white elephant in the room. However she passed was indeed under the supervision of our sovereign Lord. But refusing to talk about it or acknowledge it is just creepy and strange. Just say no comment we’d like our privacy while we honor her life and mourn for our loss.

I saw Mandisa in concert a few times, the most recent being October in Lynchburg, VA. My daughter and DIL came with me. Their favorite speaker at this EWomen event was Mandisa! I wish I had let her know that she still spoke to people from all races and every generation. Praise Jesus; I will tell her one day!

One of the greatest moments about Mandisa music I had the privilege to be a part of a church that went to a shelter for abused women and were able to dress them n put make- up n styled their hair and made a run way for all the ladies to feel empowered n beautiful as Overcomer was playing n I took there pic n developed them right there n framed them and we gifted them with there picture and celebrated with a great lunch ❤she truly blessed us I also had the privilege to see her in Tampa 2018

My mother got shingles on her 80th birthday and was never the same after that. She died 4 months later on my birthday. I got my shingles shot after that.

After hearing this i strongly believe she didn't kill herself and it was cause she was weak trying to get over COVID. I have another theory. He said there were clothes and big rugs where she was lying in bed. Maybe she got up and tripped over one of them and got up thinking she was ok for a few seconds and then got a headache and fell and died. I now believe she did not kill herself.

This was absolutely crazy!!! Her dad talked more about himself than her. This was not at all what I was expecting. I expected this to be about MANDISA and the beautiful person she was and the many lives she touched. (Her music literally brought me hope and pulled me out of some of my very darkest times.) Perhaps I’m wrong on this because I only saw the 11 minutes of this clip….but what I just watched here was a pathetic man bragging about himself instead of lifting up and honoring the life of his beautiful daughter. He doesn’t appear to be the slightest bit sad….to the contrary, he seems to be enjoying the attention he is getting from her death. Textbook narcissist.

She went to her grave and now she sleeping from her labors. Just like Jesus died and was placed in the tomb by Peter and Joseph of Arimathaea. And SOON AND VERY VERY SOON, Jesus will come (Hebrews 10:37) and there will be a shout and she will AWAKE AND SING AGAIN with all others that died in Jesus. Brother and sisters, carefully read and reflect on the fact the scripture cannot be broken. Jesus said it himself ALL THAT IN THE GRAVES SHALL HEAR HIS VOICE. There are two resurrections the first one (Revelation 20:6) will take place at the second coming. Then we go to heaven to be Jesus. Satan is bound 1,000 years (Revelation 20:2). After the 1.000 years Jesus returns with all the saints to set up the New Heavens and New Earth. Isaiah 66:22. Satan and the wicked will rush the holy city (Revelation 20:8-9) and then God will reign down fire and brimstone to destroy them. Satan, the beast and false prophet will be cast into the lake of fire. The wicked are judged by the saints and Jesus at the great white throne judgment (Revelation 20:12-15). Help us Oh Lord to remain faithful to do all your commandments and please write our names in the book of life (Revelation 22:14; Revelation 14:12; John 15:10; John 14:15; 1st John 2:3-4). Help to live holy and to lead others to You. Help us to remember the life of Mandisa and continue most importantly pointing to Jesus through her songs.

Oh, I'm sure she is resting in peace and the arms of the Good Lord, Jesus Christ❤.
