We have 6 LEGO Star Wars sets rumored to release on January 1st, 2025 with prices and piece counts likely set in stone the big question really is WHAT bare these sets? Some sources are saying we could see a new ARC-170, 4+ The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter, Home One Cruiser, and even Ahsoka's Jedi Interceprtor... for $45! Oof.

Its forced me to wait months for some of the sets to go on sale. Its outrages how they charge so much for certain sets, especially with the StarWars tax they add onto it. I think even lowering most sets by £10/$15 would make a huge differnce.

Which it probably will, Clone Wars has fallen to the wayside and the only good sets from that Era in recent memory was the AT-TE and Venator. That ARC-170 will be smaller, probably have more detail, and if we are lucky a good technic play feature for the S-Foils.

Update from Brick Clicker: 75403 is a new Buildable Grogu with Pram meant to be in the new R2-D2/C-3PO buildable character scale, and 75404 is a midi-scale Acclamator-class Star Destroyer (which I'm assuming will be in the Republic livery and essentially taking the place of a midi-scale Venator).

The rumors just updated, the $50 set is apparently a Mid-Scale Acclamator and the $100 is arguably kind of disappointing as it's just another buildable character, being Grogu again, but this time in his Pram.

My predictions for the $100 set were a starfighter pack or possibly a turbo tank. Since most of the clone figs in that recent LEGO game already have appeared, except Gree and Wolffe, I feel like a turbo tank with Gree could be a possibility.

If the Arc-170 rumors turn out to be true I’m hoping we get at bare minimum: 3 Phase 2 Clone Pilots either 3 standard pilots or 2 standard pilots and a new Captain Jag and the astromech it always bugged me that the 2010 version I grew up with only had 1 regular pilot and Captain Jag and you had to substitute Kit Fisto for your 3rd pilot because the set didn’t come with a second regular pilot!😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫💀💀💀💀

The ARC-170 is my all-time favorite Star Wars ship, and this past Thanksgiving, I splurged and got the second LEGO set of it (with Kit Fisto). Now I might be able to get another at an affordable price? Yes please!

I’m very skeptical that they’ll do anything for ROTS until 2030 (25th anniversary). That way they can do the 25th anniversary or AOTC before. Since they did the 25th anniversary of the phantom menace.

It’d be amazing if Lego made a power miners style wave for Star Wars. All the sets sticking to $40 or less with official alternate builds. Creativity is a great tool, and I think if the Lego designers he to deal with a price point, then the vibes of the late 2000s (2003-2010) might be felt again.

Let’s just remember that LEGO is a multibillion dollar corporation, with a higher profit margin than Ferrari and Louis Vuitton, and people still rally behind them and try to justify them cutting quality and gouging prices.

I don’t think the Arc 170 is getting downsized; at least, not intentionally. LEGO is going to get the wings to work right. From there, the scale of the rest or the craft will be tailored.

Just started collecting bigger sets. And have the 20th anniversary slave 1, the large Luke land speeder, the black Kyle ren shuttle and the ucs razor crest. Haven’t even opened them yet to put together. But super excited. Also got the new Optimus prime. Any other recommendations?
