In the new film “47 Meters Down,” Mandy Moore and Claire Holt portray sisters on vacation who get a little too close and personal with sharks. “It was a rigorous shoot,” Holt says, and Moore agrees: “95 percent of the film was underwater.” Moore also reveals that in the next season of “This Is Us,” “there may be some answers” about Jack’s death.

I don’t necessarily think she meant that she didn’t know what it was like to film under water. They were asked what it was like to film under water ALL the time. When she responded saying that they didn’t know what they got themselves into, it sounds more like she referenced that to filming under water as they said 95% of the time. Filming this would be completely different to H2O.

A while ago you could get this movie on dvd at Target under the title of "In The Deep". Then they pulled it from their shelves. The movie was going for a lot of money on amazon and ebay a few months ago but I don't see the movie posted for selling on those sights anymore.

the part where both of them survived is lisa hallucinating. remember when they sent down the extra tanks he warned them that changing the tank would increase the chance of hallucination. so kate actually died from the shark bites and only lisa survived because she was rescued by the coast guard in the end.

Most of the underwater filming took place in a half-completed nuclear reactor facility in Gaffney, South Carolina, including the largest underwater set in the world at 7 million gallons. So I don't need help asap as it is fact-Thanks for your concern but I'm stable thanks

I know I have a black soul but I kinda wish that it would cut to a scene in the end where Kate was lying down (where she was when Mandy was hallucinating) and she was still alive and she was shouting for help but everyone thought she was dead and eventually everyone left her down there and she ran out of air

I actually really enjoyed the movie and thought it was really suspenseful. But spoiler alert The ending sucked. The fact that they chose to have her hallucinate the swim to safety and have her end up being rescued by the coast guard. I would understand If her character was made to be an annoying and rude person. So the hallucination would make sense as it was punishment. But her character showed nothing be being positive. All I can say is when they get to the boat together right before we get the twist just stop watching the movie. Call that your ending. Otherwise it was a pretty suspenseful film with good acting. I wanted to watch it because Claire holt from TVD and TO was in it. Then they killed her in the movie I mean.

Claire Holt has been underwater having a mermaid tail and top. But now she doing with scuba equipment. Maybe Mandy Moore should be a mermaid Claire Holt, with the same tail and top from H2O. Have either one of them gone done scuba diving afterwords?

Taylor is stupid :-) oops sorry. What happened to the cables? Why did he let it loose? hahaha Just gotta find someone to blame because I really wanted Kate to be alive. The ending messed me up but at the back of my mind I knew Lisa was already hallucinating. But I gave it a go because I wanted Kate to be alive badly. Nice movie
