Here's a tip : I use an appliance extension cord so that my griddle can can be placed on top of my stove. You can turn on the light and the fan so the house doesn't smell. Also clean up is easier since the glass top is easy to wash down and the oil doesn't splatter all over my counter and knick knacks. 😊

My fur baby, Gideon, is really old but lately I've been allowing a small feral female kitty to come inside for vittles. He loves her!! Starts running through the house, throwing his toys up in the air, trying to impress her. So adorable & hilarious 😻😽. Was truly awesome to see Gracie 💕.

I seen a homestead show where the young woman's mother kept her gridle in a old pillow case that she sewed the end for a draw string. That way her gridle doesn't get scratched in the cupboard while stored. I picked up a old pillow case at a thrift store to do the same thing. I thought it was brilliant.

Keep mine in the original box so all my pieces stay together. I take mine in the camper a few times a year and it’s VERY helpful to go to use it and find you have not left the drip tray or (WORSE!) the cord behind.

Great idea. I lay a piece of flower sack material on the top and store the cord in a small drawstring sack. I love the pillowcase drawstring idea, so thank you❣️

Hi Mandy- I had a blind and deaf pomeranian for many years . The reason why Gracie Lou can't 'hear' you is because she follows you by the vibration of you voice, and it is 'bouncing' off of the nearest wall, or in this case metal can or refrigerator, so she looks away from you where she feels the vibs coming from. A lil tap on the cheek will 'right' her and she will know exactly where you are. ❤❤❤ Gracie Lou and loved this video! 🎉 God Bless !

We make smash burgers on out Blackstone often. Found that if I add a squeeze of yellow mustard to the griddle, then smash the burger , it caramelizes the patty…do again and flip…

We used to go on vacation with my husband's family, and I think his grandmother always took her griddle! She always planned everything to a T, and making sure she had the kitchen equipment she wanted was part of that. Thank you for bringing up that sweet memory. I might just have to go cook up some hashbrown bowls for lunch today. I think I have all the fixings, except bell pepper.

Mandy, listen to your hubby! Those onion centers are the best part. I always go for them first. I use a Blackstone griddle when I go camping because like you said, you can cook almost anything on a griddle. These recipes look delicious. Thank you.

All those burgers needed was some garlic powder and dub sauce! And girl, I think Steven LOVED those quesadillas! He cracks me up! If I need a laugh he always comes through! Thanks Steven! When you’re grieving the loss of your husband every laugh you can get sure helps! We were married 39 years. He suddenly had a seizure and that’s how we found out he had brain cancer. Sure love all videos you guys make. Those breakfast bowls looked so delicious! Thanks for showing us how y’all make them.

I recently found out about putting your chicken in your KitchenAid mixer bowl or whatever kind of mixer you have and just turning it on and it shreds up just perfectly!

ALL your toasty Sammie’s are great on a griddle. Ruben’s are great. Grilled cheese (try using havarti! Greyier (sp?) is yummy too. I put caramelized onions on them too. French toast. I use mine I need to make just about everything I need more than one of so we can eat together.

Mandy, a really easy way to mix up your meat without using your hands is to use the thing that you use when crumbling up the meat in the pan. It works great, just put it in the bowl and twist it around in the meat to mix, I use a spatula to keep mixing the stuff into the middle and the meat chopper/crumble mixer works great.

We usually spend at least two weeks a year staying some place that has a kitchen. I have the same griddle and have started taking it. It has been amazing! We’ve found a lot of grocery stores at the meat counter will have something like bulgogi beef, fajita meat, lemon garlic shrimp, ect, that you can buy pre marinated so you don’t have to buy/pack all the individual ingredients to make a marinade or sauce. You just maybe need to add a few veggies. We combine it with a bagged salad or can of corn/ green beans and It’s such a cost effective way to do dinners while traveling. Some of our favorites have been fajitas, beef broccoli and fried rice, hibachi style teriyaki chicken and veggies, and of course breakfast.

cling wrap press n seal on the front of his shirt will catch whatever falls. When you are done eating just grab the bottom of the press and seal and pull up towards your chin, wad it up and throw it away. No muss, no fuss

Hi Mandy ! I love making recipes you put out each week. I’m definitely going to try the chicken quesadilla . Since that’s my very favorite Mexican food as well fajitas! .,Wellll! My problem is us that I had a bad fall , end up breaking my arm and can’t cook! Anything right now. But can hubby into making the recipes for me! I think he can handle it. Let’s hope so! Lol

0:03 that recipe for steak and shake Frisco melt is definitely going to go in my recipe file!! Walmart used to get those sandwiches in the freezer section then one day poof they were gone! I used to own a griller years ago back when they were very popular, and everyone rushed to Walmart to clear the shelves 😂! I sold mine bc we were moving & buying new stuff...Then I started having health problems and wasn't able to get in the kitchen and cook 4my family...One day I will definitely go buy a new one. I cooked almost EVERYTHING on it. I loved cooking breakfast especially pancakes 🥞, 🥓 bacon, hash browns , grilled ham & cheese! So yummy! And ofc gotta grill up some ole burgers 🍔...Toast them buns hun...😊... Great Recipes Mandy! I enjoy watching you guys. Yall are so silly

Raining here for Memorial Day so we cooked inside. Didn’t have any sourdough bread so we used regular hamburger buns but this was a HUGE hit in my house. I don’t eat onions or cheese so mine was just burger and sauce and was so delicious. Definitely a keeper. Thanks Mandy for all your hard work.

First of all Happy Mother’s Day! Our 14 year old cat love cheese, chicken/chimkins as my 26 year old daughter has always called it to the cat )it is her cat) anyway he also loves ranch. When she was in college with him he got a hold of a hot wing and ate it. We couldn’t believe it he loves spicy although we never purposely give him that.

My grandma made cornbread on her griddle. She had a lot of mouths to feed and she could make little pancakes by the dozens. The leftovers don't get dried out like cut cornbread and there's more edges if you like that part.

You can make a protective cover for your griddle from a pillow case. You can even add a draw string on the end to close it up.

Everything looks amazing! I have to say, I was very relieved to see Miss Gracie Lou, she did not make an appearance in your last video that I saw. We lost my sweet Scottie Gracie last week, she had acute kidney failure. I’m still shattered but since I had put two and two together and got five, I was very worried about your little girl. I’m a mess!❤

The two meals that looked so delicious 🤤 was the quesadilla and the hash brown bowl. I don't have a griddle but I do have an air fryer.. actually I have two Air fryer's and I love both of them. But I think I will invest a little money in getting a griddle and I need to get me printer so I can print and save these yummy meal ideas. Happy mother's day 💐

I believe you prepare the components then treat it like a grilled cheese. Bread on the buttered grill, spread, onions, cheese, meat, cheese, meat, bread with spread, top and turn. Two spatulas helps. That way the meat is drained on paper towel and cheese melts through. The patties could be thinner. Looks good.

I do a lot of freezing of vegetables during the summer, plus make a lot of soup in the cold months. This has made my life easier and a great time saver. Thank you for showing this helpful tool😊
